So the NDA gets released today and then they go on sale now? Or is there a wait until release still?

As far as I know, as soon as NDA is lifted, its on sale. I think we'll see them tomorrow.

It might not sell as well but it will still sell, just look at the Titan Z.

There is much more to a graphics card than just performance figures, so even if the 390x is a smidgen faster and a little cheaper there are plenty of reasons to buy the Titan X. Plus if you are in the market for a card in these kinds of prices then obviously such price differences are relatively meaningless.

If the TitanX is a couple of percent slower and couple of hundred more but has nvidia driers and game support, runs cooler and quieter, overclocks better, draws less power, can be SLI'd easier and offers additional features like PhysX then the Titan X is still by bar the most attractive card IMO.

Students, PAH! I started working right out of school where as most of my mates went to Uni, for years they had better computers then me and loads of spare cash!

Until they had to start paying it back

Just buy one and forget about a haircuts and showers for the next few years, no-one expects it of you anyway
