nVidia announce the Titan X at GDC 2015

Question - It says 600W PSU. If/ when i buy I would be intending on using it briefly in living room pc until such time as I get my Ti's drained and removed from system.

Only problem is, it has a Superflower 550W PSU. What would be the chances of it being ok?

It is currently running a 4790K (overclocked) and a Galax GTX 970.

If the TDP of 250w I saw earlier is correct, you'll be fine, I run a full Ivy i7 rig with a 690 (300wTDP) off 550w with room to spare.

Decent 550W PSU would likely be fine, especially in the short term. PSU requirements are always overspecced to account for shockingly bad PSUs.

So 36% faster than a gtx980 at 4k where you would expect the Titan to be at it's strongest. Thats not bad at all. Will be interesting to see what happens at lower resolutions like 1440p.
