US: The Walking Dead Season 5 (contains spoilers)

Oh and what did that guy say (deanna's son) before getting ripped to bits? Something about "it was us"... I couldn't make it out.

Yeah I couldn't make that out either, there was another similar thing I couldn't hear properly either even rewound multiple times.

IIRC when the went out the first time (when Glenn lamped him after they got back) they said the Zombie they had chained up had killed their friends who were careless..he was admitting that wasn't true and it was their fault the others died.

Anyway can anyone confirm they showed Maggie listening in when Gabriel was being a knob?

He basically said it was their fault people died on the last runs. He said they panicked and it caused others to die. As shown in that episode!

Didn't like some of the gore and brutality in this last epidosde. I'm all for darker themes and more violence in the series, but the two deaths were done really crudely, like they were rushed or something.

I also thought Carols suggestion at the end was a little too soon or unwarranted at this stage, theirs plenty of other options, especially since the whole place is supposed to the start of a new society. I get that the group have gone through tough times but this is a little extreme, and kind of makes the priests comments at the end, somewhat justified.

Oh, and talking about the priest, wtf is his problem? Don't understand his character or his purpose. He needs to get disembowled pronto.

Yeah I thought that about Carol, but she's seems to have crossed the line of "a little bit mental"

So who do you think will die in the next 2 episodes out of the main stronger characters?

Rick, Darryl, Carol, Abrieham or Glen?

One or 2 of these WILL die in the next 2 episodes. There has to be a main character death (i reckon :p)

Yeah I agree.. Although I do agree that wife/child beaters do deserve to die, in the situation they are in, they have to be 1000% sure before taking that course of action. As far as I can tell he is the only doctor in the camp so maybe a severe kicking/outing may be more appropriate.

For those who didn't quite catch the bit in the warehouse:

Nicholas (to Aiden): 'You left them, we both did, it's who were are. I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry'

Aiden (to Glenn): 'It was us. The others before; they didn't panic. We did, it was us.'

As for Carol, while it seems an ott suggestion, given her background it's not much of a stretch. They tried to let Ed change his ways, but ultimately they knew he would never change and just see this as history repeating itself. If there was any chance Deanna would exile him there might be another way, but she won't (not with him being a doctor). Them bringing back an injured Tara may be the only thing that stops them killing him right away.

Either way it's all going to go very wrong, very quickly now. Just don't kill off Rick, Glenn, Daryl or Carol please. There are a few of the others they could kill off and I could live with it, as I don't feel they are bringing much extra to the show. Eugene is actually starting to grow on me.

Group come back from the supply run,
Boss lady hears her son died, Glen blames coward guy
Coward guy lies and says, no, your son is amazing and it was Glens fault he died
Boss lady gets mad, and very sad
Enter Fat woman - "There is chocolate missing, and guns too!"
Kid - "Oh that was Carol, she stole them and threatened to throw me to the monsters"
Enter Rick "I want to kill your doctor"

"Satan hides in the light....." whimpers the priest.

Then things get interesting :D

All we need now is for Darryl to kick up some chaos, maybe he has to kill a potential recruit to save himself?

I don't think Abraham will die as he's not a main character, that's not to say a main character will die. But he is definitely a beast so who knows he might end up sacrificing himself later down the line.

I think we may see Carol going, that's my bet anyway :p

We had a shot specifically of Darryl riding off so whatever happens in the camp, he'll come back, save everyone with the two arrows he's been using since season 2, grunt at Rick then go hunt some rabbits.

Sounds good to me! Carol and Darryl are the best.

Just realised it's funny how the zombies suddenly appear from all angles, I know it's a TV show but still a bit of a blunder :p

It was something about leaving someone behind...

:)

That video refers to the comics, bit of a spoiler. The guy on the metal would still be alive, at least in a zombie way. He says they left the (previous) new guys.
Bit of a shame cos he did the right thing at first, shot the zombie leg so it could barely move. Kinda realistic that he got trigger happy.

Glen could have smashed the door glass and they could get out. The whole thing about we cant out run these zombies requires some suspension of disbelief, ditto with Abraham as he didnt even look surrounded and there was plenty of time but whatever

Somebody made a point in the yt comments about how carol recognises the kids behaviour is off. She specifically tries to frighten him and he wont leave her alone, which reflects the situation with his father and why she is certain

zombies suddenly appear from all angles
yea, the zombies behind chain link. Why not kill them, you got knives. No leave them and opps its a problem

I thought the same thing watching it. Why take the risk of just leaving them there when they are nicely lined up? Thought they were smart...

Thought they were smart...

they're not smart at all. every safe place they've got involved with has gone to ****. the farm, the prison, woodbury, the cannibal place and now this place.

the smart people are the people who create the havens. rik and his group come in, think they're better because they've been dumb enough to never form a long term base and have to rough it in the wilderness and thus pick up a few basic skills in killing.

the preacher is right. they are the devil in disguise and have left a trail of death and destruction in their path.

Watching the Walking Dead when suddenly, Knife Party!

Brilliant episode, it's just a shame they don't have some half way episodes, the pacing is one extreme to the other.

I love how they played on the coward part with Eugene and he steps up then we get the preecher who is clearly in it all for himself.
