nVidia announce the Titan X at GDC 2015

With regard to the performance right now, do we have figures for how the original Titan has improved between launch and now?
 
Has anyone confirmed with 4K-DSR if 12GB really means 12GB :) ? j/k

OC looks impressive but temps meh... I will probably skip this one like I thought I would due to price and see what AMD is cooking with the R9-390X
 
trip: I will stick my neck out and say that I don't think AMD are to blame for those particular games as they are not shining lights of good, efficient coding and don't exactly run like greased lightning on 980 SLI either.

Skimming through the Titan X reviews now, I think what Nvidia have done on the 28nm process is pretty stunning but yes, in context of the original Titan its not as great but maybe the price will be right ?

Any reviews out with OC 980 results as a comparo, suspicious by their absence, does anyone actually run a 970/980 at stock ?

I noticed that as well. The 780 beating a TX? WTF.

Also, one concern. Wont this thing throttle back its speed if its hitting 100 odd c?
 
Just seen the reviews...man the performance is great, the cooling is crap.
Throttling at 84C...have to run abot 90..and its noisy. Thats a tough one to explain after all the 290ref bashing.
