No, too rich for my blood compared to the performance of lower priced card(s), but fair play to anyone who can/does afford one or more - look to be really good cards if the price doesn't worry you.

I woudn't buy any even if I had half a million quid in the bank doing nothing, after the 970 fiasco with the memory, Nvidia can take a running jump.

Sticking to my guns, won't jump on Nvidia's band wagon now or in the future.

Maybe later if I can pick one up secondhand. In the meantime ill get by on 780 sli. Id only consider AMD if they can produce something that runs cool, sensible power use and is well priced.

I spunked £1k on a pair of 780Tis just over a year ago, but I've voted a definite no for this.

Might start getting interested when 980Ti comes out, but still probably not. There's just not the exciting leap there used to be.

I decided against it in the end.

Mainly because if I buy one I would be getting a Gsync monitor with it, and they are lacking in functionality (in terms of inputs). I would rather get a cheaper free sync monitor and have multiple inputs on it. So I am waiting for the 390x which sounds like a much more advanced GPU any way.

As did I, although not even a year ago, more like 10 months. Really should have gotten Titan Blacks, but didn't envisage the VRAM usage aspect as much as I should have. Still really pleased with my Ti's which both clock well in to the 1200's and don't go above 40 degrees in doing so!

If my blocks had been Titan X compatible, I may have given 1 a go, but with the high launch price and the added cost of another block... nah I will wait it out. Perhaps get a couple of 980Ti's if/ when they appear if they offer better VFM.

no, maybe a few years ago id have considered it but i just dont spend enough time gaming to warrant it.. even when i do play games im a sucker for the older ones like half life 1 :p

Maybe depends if price drops to reasonable price point for me before newer stuff comes along.

If a good deal comes along then fine if not, happy to wait for 980 Ti / 390X..

^^

This exactly.

At £899 the price/performance is a joke. No doubt the price will tumble though, especially if the 390X beats it (or is even near it), then Titan will drop like a dead weight. :D

Be prepared to lose £100's on your Titan very soon if the 390X lives up to it's specs. . .

Nah. The jump over the 980 is nowhere near large enough to justify that sort of money, especially with AMD's new cards on the horizon and especially since I'm not using a 4K monitor.
