** TITANX **

Some of us paid £420inc from OCUK for our EVGA 980 SC cards back in September. They are now £530inc. So, I would not bet that the Titan X will reduce in price all that quickly.

At £949.99inc the Titan X SC is over double the price of what I paid for my 980 SC's. The Titan X has three times the VRAM, 50% extra GPU die and grants a 30% performance boost.

If you don't pay VAT, the Titan X SC cards are £782 each, for what you get, I think its right on the edge of what they are worth.

The other place I bought one of my SC EVGA's from has already increased in price (albeit by £12).

stuff is expensive in the uk ><
but atleast its cold so greg should be ok with air cooled!

I don't have enough cash in my savings account to buy a pair of water blocks but they will be purchased on the 28th and fitted whenever. :o

Havent read many reviews, but would be interesting to see the difference. Just wish my 780's were 6gb models, but they were as rare as hens teeth.

Yeah the 6GB 780s were available for a very limited period. I remember you could purchase 5 6GB 780s for £200 cheaper than a Titan Z :D

Since its no longer DP card and they have already allowed the AIO version what the chance EVGA will get a greenlight for a classified version this time?

I just watched the weirdest Titan X review ever.
It's rapid....wow, really want one now :D

Next month, might have to wait till next month :p

not u too!!
why not go full lame and watch tech of tmrw with that guy who compares anything bad to girls with small boobs lol

You'll run out of raw GPU grunt before you get close to using the 12gb imo.

Also you'd be so severely bandwidth constrained by ~6GB, more buffer than that is likely useless.

AT LEAST 4GB of the Titan X is pure marketing. 6GB of it is mostly.

If it wasn't smashed in video editing and 3D rendering by cards that were a quarter of its price, you could make an argument here for people editing large 4K videos or rendering large scenes at home.

Not being technically savvy which would be the better option for gaming 1 Titan x or 2 gtx 980's the benchmarks appear to point towards the sli option, given there isn't much difference in the price which would be the better option, sadly i dont have the thick end of 2K to bend on a sli Titan X format.
Thanks Steve

Out of those two options personally I'd go for the Titan X just to save any hassle with SLI plus the extra memory even though you probably won't use all of it. However if AMD is a consideration I'd wait to see what the 390x has to offer.
