Just reading PCPers review and stock for stock, it is roughly 40% faster and I find that impressive. I said I would jump if it was 30% faster and seeing some of the clock speeds being reached - near 1400Mhz and stable, colour me impressed. Of course I am doing some purchase justification as well and I don't have much else to do till they arrive :o

In their own conclusion they say the average is between 30 and 35% faster than the 980. The 980 seems to overclock better too based on reviews.

But no biggie, purchase justification is understandable in this situation. Enjoy your new cards.

I think it's quite remarkable how the hype and marketing machine has convinced some that 500£ + sb considered a normal price for an 'enthusiast' card. £1000 is just plain insane, and the more folks splash out for a titan x the more likely nvidia will push prices higher in the future.

Never.

The more I think about it the more it angers me that they think they can charge such an unreasonable amount for a graphics card.

You can take a hike Nvidia.

AMD need to do some green ass whooping to the tune of 20% faster than TX at half the price.

TX will look even more stupid than it does now.

Vowed never to buy NVidia again after the 970 fiasco, however their pricing makes it easy for me. Can only hope the 390X is under £400 because I wont pay more. Sadly its looking more and more like I will be priced out of serious Pc gaming. Very sad if so. :(

You don't need to spend over 400 to have an awesome pc gaming experience :)
