How about Rowan Atkinson?

1) Comical -check
2) Know's a lot about cars and crashes them a lot -check
3) Can make a car look badly designed just by getting in or out of it -check
4) Awkward ambassadorial skills -check

Best so far, but more Blackadder less Mr Bean.

Not ideal but miles better than Carr, Evans and Coogan.

If they replaced the cast I'd actually start watching it again, I find the existing/previous three about as funny as being shot in the face with an arrow, only to find a very large tax bill attached to it (hint as to who I'd like as one of the replacements).

I think you need to test that to see if it's true otherwise you're just speculating ;)

Just....no.

Having tried to watch The Classic Car Show with her on it, she is utterly awful at presenting a potentially decent car show, as for that matter is Quentin these days. I got about 5 mins in and just gave up, the cars were great, the presenters and their style of presenting just ruined the whole concept and made it an impossible watch.

Coogan would be epic but I doubt he'd do it until his career is flailing.
BBC are threatening to bring back Jason Dawe :p

She actually got her start via Clarksons home videos (that sounds dodgy lol), the two have great chemistry, but, well, she's a bit old to be the eye candy now no?

She's quite 'Laddish', she does that rather well IMO, she's quite excitable, fun loving and she has a sense of humour... she isn't Clarkson. no one is....But

A replacement needs to gel with the audience and the other two, she has a love of Cars and childish fun, she has that in common with May and Hammond, its a start.

He is certainly someone I'd like to see as a guest presenter but he'd have to tone it down a lot to do it permanently.

I really think they are missing an opportunity by not pulling out some episodes with guest presenters - there are loads of people who'd be great to see do 1-2 episodes.

The BBC put Woman in some shows for Gender Balancing, its Political Correctness.

They even looked at doing it with Top Gear.

I have no problem with Woman being in what one might call a Mans space. But just to drop one in there to be Politically Correct makes me turn my eye's up.
