The AMD Driver Thread

um...so I just tried far cry 4...

Crossfire = 23 fps and flickering.
Single card = 23 fps and no flickering....

Please tell me what exactly the crossfire profile does? -_-

That doesn't even work by the sounds of things...

Working here but you need to disable GW's features:

CrossFire Enabled:

no FPS limiter? :(

Wait.... What?

I thought that was in this?

My word.... It wasn't much, but it was probably the one small feature I was hoping for that could be of use.

Also, I thought we had confirmation that dying light was in this? And far cry 4 still broken by the sounds of things?

I'm glad I don't swear off nvidia after the 970's, cause as much as I dislike nvidia they have always been far more on the ball, and I have had far less issues with their stuff in the past.

Amd, are just being a bunch of muppets currently

No Assetto Corsa cf profile?

Seeing as this beta with the Far Cry 4 profile wasn't much better than using AFR it probably won't get much better for Assetto Corsa either I'd imagine.

I can't believe I held off so long to properly play FC4 for this. Guess I'll just finish it off this weekend and be done with it.

Im curious what you need an Assetto corsa profile for? Ever since I can remember iv had nearly double fps with crossfire enabled in Assetto Corsa. One of the few games that actually scales really well.

Just my observation. With no settings changed only moving over to the beta driver Battlefield 4 does not feel as smooth as the omega driver. Frame rate is still really high it just doesn't feel fluid. Has anyone experienced this?

AMDMatt:

Mixed Rotation Eyefinity now available on Radeon™ R9 285 series
AMD Radeon™ R9 285 now supports Mixed Rotation Eyefinity for "0" and "90" degrees rotations

Thank you for finally getting this out which was supposed to be in the Omegas but no-one was able to enable it.

Hopefully this will be included in the coming 3xx series... 285 is not powerful enough (even when in CF) to drive PLP setups and my 2x290X can't do coz it has inferior display controller.

PLP support has been ignored for far too long... now hurry up with the 3xx series so that I can start enjoying my 20|30|20 PLP setup without resorting to 3rd party hacks and windowed mode without CF support apart from couple of mantle enabled games where CF works in windowed mode (bf4: 4960x1600p)

Wtf! Are you saying plp is impossible on the r290? Utter fail!

Loads of graphical errors though isnt there, compromise between higher framerates and funky graphics.

No ta.
