Hi all,

I've been meaning to upgrade my for a while now, but haven't been able to do so due to funds. My current specs are in my sig. He's offering me:

Intel® Core™i7-2600 Quad Core (3.40GHz, 8MB Cache) + HD Graphics
ASUS® P8P67 (NEW REV 3.0): USB 3.0, SATA 6.0GB/s, CrossFireX™
Creative Sound Blaster® X-Fi™ Titanium

All for £100.

Would this be a worthy upgrade to my CPU/Mobo for the price? I'm not too sure of the performance of that CPU compared to my AMD.

What I use the computer for is mainly gaming and the Unity game engine, as well as some light use of 3ds Max.

Thank you.

Bite his hand off now!
If its 100% working buy it now !!!!

First double check the CPU if its an i7-2600k as you can only overclock the k variety easily but for £100 it will be a lot better than your AMD. A lot!

+1

It's an excellent CPU

for £100 you cant go wrong as long as its fully working i was watching one on ebay which went for £150 that was for 2600k asus z68 mother board and some cheap cooler.

the reason i was watching it is because i was thinking about upgrading my 2600k as im running of of sata 3 ports on my motherboard apart from that i think it has plenty of life left in it
