Well...yeah, in this case it is.

The guys sounds like a complete tool and his political career is likely over as a result.
That's one point of view..
Harassment certainly. Was any damage caused?
I can't stand Farage but I completely agree, he was out for a meal with his family, people shouldn't be hounded like this.

No it's not. Whether he is a muslim or not makes no difference to the allegation. Anyone could have done it for the same reasons...to get elected. He didn't try to take create a fake situation he could take credit for because he was a muslim, he did it because he thought it would get him elected, if true he's simply another dirty politician because like many, he craves the power it gives him, he's not a dirty politician because he is a Muslim. That's it.
The inherent prejudice in people simply astounds me sometimes..that we still produce such stupidity in a progressive, supposedly educated society is sad.
So you don't think that the fact he's Muslim influenced his decision to choose a mosque as the protest focus? If not I think you're being depressingly naive in order to offer the outside illusion of liberal attitude.
Sometimes a stick is simply a stick.
You know somethings seriously rotten at the heart of our political classes when the political person who has demonstrated the most integrity is Tommy Robinson of the EDL.
He was standing in my area, his flyers came across as quite professional, and being an ex army captain, he seemed like a decent bet, even for a tory!
The story just sounds so ridiculous!
Not really, as any politician could have done the same thing for the same reasons. The EDL and Islam being contentious and newsworthy., if I was going to do something like that, then it's ideal for getting traction in the Press and electorate, especially if the mosque is already in the local publics consciousness ..Being a Muslim simply doesn't make him a bent politician as is being insinuated. I'm not even a liberal btw, but I would rather be called a liberal than be a bigot.
That's not naive, it's being called objective. However, if you would rather be informed by your prejudices though, then that is what is depressing.
But isn't UKIP the party of peace?
I have at no point stated being muslim is what has lead to him being bent. What I'm saying is it is more than likely a factor that lead him to choose a mosque as the focus of his deception. People tend to focus on things that they are familiar with or passionate about. Being a muslim I imagine both of those things apply to him!
It's not prejudice, it's not bigotry, it's logic and probability.
Our political system is a disgrace, politicians will resort to anything to get themselves elected, how many times have they lied about policies or used loop holes in recent years? every election it's like having several power mad dictators competing against one another, rather than political parties who want to do good for the country and just accepts that if their policies are not popular they will lose.
