Never got big bum thing
Wouldn't have known eithers name but I know what I'd choose
As much as a like a bit of mammary I much prefer small bum.. But I don't like pencil legs!
Had a closer look. Yeah swift looks pretty damn stunning tbh. And her legs ain't sticks

Kim kardasin has a fake face and is boring person, i don't see the appeal. I have no idea why she is famous.
Swift is the epitome of what is wrong with modern women, she has nice legs but her mouth and face is annoying. Her music is terrible as well, talentless.
Personally i like big bums as well as small ones. My favourite being genuine indoor volleyball butts.

Agreed and KK but TS is anything but talentless. I won't debate the looks part as that's subjective but how could a talentless person manage to write or co-write every single song for 5 albums, and be the best selling artist of the last decade, manage (yes she actually manages) 4 sold out world tours.
Even if you don't think her song writing had any talent (which btw, she is the youngest Grammy winner in history, youngest entrance into Hall of Fame in Country music in history, the last guy was like Garth Brooke's and he was like 50) and about a bucket load of other critical awards, then surely there is talent in itself to get to where she is by fooling everyone else in the world?
I've heard people call TS have no talent before, but they are based on no fact and merely personal opinion. They have no basis on what they are saying because if you even look at it with a grain of sand of objectivity, Swift had more talent in her finger nails than most of these people.

True, record sales do not mean talent. How about awards? How about performing on stage? How about song writing? How about the guts to make the decision at the age of 14 to QUIT Sony Records and sign up with a guy starting out his own record label and work from the bottom, driving in a hired car round the country to different local radio station promoting her CDs? How about being the top of the industry for the last 8 years?
How about all those combined?
And add to that, records sales.
TS is not a flash in the pan, she isn't some darling from American idol, this isn't her 15mins of fame. She has been a round for a long time and has worked her way up for years.

I think you are presenting the fact she is popular. That does not necessarily mean she is talented or not. Personally I think she has talent of a sort but let's not make out she is supertalented in few years she'll be faded and the next one will be along. In 100 years people will still play Hendrix and Nirvana they won't be listening to Taylor Swift.

I'm going to bet I'm right. Just look at it objectively, look how she managed to jump from country music to pop, how she don't resisted to fall into the trap of all those female singers who uses sex to sell records (Spears, Cyrus), how the awards keep rolling in. So far she makes all the right decisions and side step all the traps that normally causes a lot of these teen pop princesses to implode. She has done well so far for the past 10 years, so the evidence suggests that she will continue to do so.
Like I said, it's just your opinion, the mountain of evidence suggest otherwise.
what percentage of the western world buys her music? I'm imagining his opinion is quite popular
So let me get this right you are saying that Taylor Swift will viewed as talented as Jimi Hendrix
And not resorting to sex to sell videos she barely half covered in any of them often seen in skimpy clothing, lingerie etc.

I have to disagree. Taylor Swift is very talented, although I am not sure that I agree with Raymond Lin when he says she has more talent in her fingernails than most people. Many people have talent, its just there are not many people where that talent comes together with say charisma, good looks, drive, ambition and so forth.
A singer song-writer like Swift obviously deserves praise for her achievements. Her music is mostly aimed at a young female audience, so naturally it won't appeal to most OCUK'ers. But she's done a few more mature songs which I can get on board with, and as she gets older I am sure that will continue to improve.
I would rather hold up Swift as an ideal for young girls than Kardashian, that's for sure.
That is how young women tend to dress...

I heard that argument before too so I ask you, How would a pretty well off family help her to sell millions of records? Her dad didn't buy them. The family wealth doesn't equal fans. The only advantage I see is that they move do to Nashville to help her. But a LOT of people do that, everyday, like people move to LA to be an actress, it doesn't make you a movie star.
P.s. Yes it's a hired car, it might even be their own car. She used to do her own MySpace page and post video blogs on YouTube, videos of her and her mum driving and handheld. There are videos floating around on YouTube of her doing direct chat to fans using the built in cam in her laptop in her parent's house. She got to where she is with hard work, as well as talent.
