God some people really are getting their knickers all bunched up over this, shouty capital letters and everything.

Never trust CJS they are the click bait of the gaming key world.

Hope you get your refund before the game drops. GMG won't give me a refund as I got a game code even though I haven't redeamed it yet. Suck it up buttercup, still going to be the same game regardless of "achievements" and Steam Launchers.
 
Maybe all this crap you are having to go through will teach you to not put money into something until you know what you are getting.

Stop pre ordering video games.
 
I have pre-ordered games in the past fine, and this is the first time a cd key site has screwed me with the description, hence me being annoyed. Every game I buy on release or before that in the past years I've bought from various cd key sites. Pre-order steam key so it can pre-load before release and so I can play the minute it's out!

I'd not have a problem if they actually delivered what they promised.

Start a paypal dispute, it isn't the product you paid for.

Having all games in 1 place/library with 2 click downloading and installing unattended ( Steam that is) is the only reason I actually buy games at all, otherwise I'd simply go back to pirating them. Yes steam starts other rubbish sometimes like R* social club or the Uplay thing but it's still all in 1 one place, on all pc's that's what I want, convenience, steam streaming beta works fine too, I can play new games on my rubbish laptop ( Hd5470) on max gfx streaming from my own pc!
Anything not steam can basically screw itself and doesn't deserve a penny :mad:.

And they wonder why people pirate games, I remember GTA 4, it was out in the US before Europe, so I just pirated it 3 days before I got my (pre-ordered) retail copy in because it's retarded to wait for a release date imo.

I'm in the same situation, just sent them an email.

Has really screwed me over, can't get my pre-order bonus now :mad:

But seriously, this is pretty bad. I sent them an attachment of receipt from their site clearly showing that I payed for a Steam key, not a Rock star Social Club key.

Don't know how to go about doing this, did they respond quickly? This is shoddy on their part and I might be a little bit aggressive on my part too :D

whilst waiting for your refund, if you have enough funds in your bank to cover it you can always buy it from Steam now and hope that the 31st deadline is done on US time and not UK time,
i didnt pre order mine till about 30 mins after midnight (was waiting for wages to go in my acc) so i guess il find out soon enough if i get the bonus

They haven't responded to me at all yet, while they promise a response within 12 hrs.

It's a Paypal dispute atm, if they don't respond within 24 ( and positively that is), I'm immediately upping it to a paypal claim instead...

Not sure how it works, I've never had any disputes on paypal before, but it should be clear as day to prove, I ordered a steam key, not a R* key, it's not the product, misleading advertisement...

At the moment I bought it, AllKeyShop ( place where I always check prices) had a whole list of sites claiming to sell Steam keys, they also adjusted it later AFTER I bought it.

Paypal automatically upped the dispute to a claim, because I refused the bank transfer/preauthorized debit from Paypal. :D

They have until april 11 to reply!
 
I know, I just thought they might dish out STEAM keys anyway - Not really unexpected I suppose.
 
Orrrrr, just wait and get it after release for half the price? lol It's a couple of days, hardly going to kill you lot waiting, specially after so many delays. Then you'll also find out if it actually runs good on PC. If it doesn't, then good!

People need to stop preordering. It's not worth it!
