Firefox 29?

Not without an extension, no about@config switch for it either.

Only solution is an extension or use CTRL+P.

I've read about these problems and sadly it eventually causes weirdness for the Firefox profile over time. People have spoken about this over on the Mozilla forums.

Still rocking 28.0, no profile issues as yet.

Mozilla butchered the UI, they can keep their chrome knockoff for all i care, i'm switching onto a Firefox fork once it refuses to work. Mozilla have lost their way.... :(

Just use the classic theme restorer extension, it adds so many additional useful features too.

As of the latest release (37), Youtube now defaults to the HTML5 player and is flawless, giving full 60fps options for 60fps videos. I can now see my game videos as I recorded them, yay!

Saw my first CS:GO 60fps GIF today after the upgrade to v37 and all the comments were about the 60fps smoothness rather than about the content of the GIF, looks nice!

All in good time I guess. We've now got flawless 60fps having waited it out, so it's a good start :)

Meh! Chrome is where it is at now :p

Still a fan of FF but I just prefer chrome now for a few reasons:

1. get all the new features like the 60 fps for YT first (think chrome has had 60 fps since October 2014 )
2. chrome remote desktop app
3. the font seems smoother on chrome, firefox looks very thin and not aliased? Especially noticeable on this forum

Firefox handles GIF threads so much better though!

Not loving this update so far, getting some odd UI issues occasionally (e.g. new tab animations glitching) and some odd video playback issues on some sites.

That’s not the experience I had with Chrome. I actually found You Tube wasn’t working properly in chrome. Which is weird as You Tube is owned by Google. (It was using chromes inbuilt flash plugin. Hence why it wasnt working)

On a different note, since 37.0.1 You Tube seems to have defaulted back to Flash. :o
