looking for new car Mini cooper v ds3 v audi a1

I've driven all three and I'd definitely go for a Mini, seconded by the A1 but you sacrifice a lot of fun for practicality.

Would be the Mini for me, might even be having one as a driving instructor car ;)

Better drive and better looks, screw practicality and nice plastic :)

I just dont like the look of it, corsa maybe.

What about Seat Ibiza? VAG Group :)

Edit:

I was actually pretty tempted by Ibiza, you can get a pretty new example with low mileage for around 4k

Is the perceived quality in an Adam really going to be better than a Corsa? I havent been in either but both looking on Vauxhall's website both seem pretty similar

Yeah it is. And it's priced higher as a result. Both have a Better interior than the Fiesta, but the Adam is a shade higher than the Corsa. Obviously it's more personalisable too.

(Talking about the new Corsa here, not the old one with the ancient interior!)

Both have a Better interior than the Fiesta,

The plastics must be like touching velvet then because they certainly don't look any better. They look worse than the Fiesta if anything in my opinion. It is better if you like chic/hip/girly looking interiors covered in glossy plastic i suppose.

The A1 and Cooper have much nicer interiors than any of them though.

I'd go for the Mini, best car to drive out of the lot, the A1 is an utterly dull and lifeless car in most trim levels. Hideosly expensive for what is essential a polo/fabia in drag.

.

It's not just about the plastics. It's about not having a silly number of buttons which are pretty unfathomable (I could never work out how to do anything in my wife's), nor a tiny screen miles away with no touch interface. The Corsa and Adam are cleaner, much more modern, and have nice, big, easy-to-use touchscreen.

Anyway, the OP has said he doesn't want either so perhaps we leave this here. :)

You don't need a touchscreen when you can just tell it exactly what track of music you want it to play, who you want it to call, text etc :p

I don't mind the corsa i just dont like the exterior look of the adam

any one driven the 208 or fiesta, and can give me some information.

I've driven the old corsa so i know it or but not the best and the pillars did restrict view.

also really like the look of the new polo.

I have test driven a 208 GTI and own a Fiesta ST. Whilst the 208 GTi had a more expensive feeling dashboard, the seating position and small steering wheel felt odd and I couldn't really get comfortable. In the Fiesta I immediately found a great driving position. The seats were nicer and more comfortable in the Fiesta as well but obviously the seats in the GTI and ST will be different to the other trim levels/versions so that might not be that helpful to you!

Another annoyance in the 208 is that the glovebox is non existent because they house the fusebox in there, so don't expect to fit much in there :/. Not a deal breaker but a pretty stupid design decision in my opinion.

Pointless^
