Achievement of the day, completed 3 bounties using remote play on my nexus 7, using touch screen controls! Not really playable but good for grabbing bounties and xur.

Just got a exotic bounty this morning again lol was hoping for thorn this time round but don't have the choice so picked the bounty for super good advice
 
I just picked this up on the ps4 because it was down to 15 quid. Thoroughly enjoying it so far but I don't have playstation plus. Almost all of the bounties I'm seeing now are for strikes and crucibal stuff which I can't do. Would you wonderful folk recommend forking out for playstation plus? Is it going to be worth it?

I'm only just up to level 13 and playing solo because all my mates are pc gamers only :/
 
Just done my first crota run on normal using destiny tracker page, think the guys i was running with made it easier than it actually was but enjoyed it.

Ended up with raid helm and boots plus hunger of crota which is nice, shame I'm using helm of Saint 14, May have to see what xur is selling this week and start farming materials :D

Personally thats £15 down the drain until you experience raids. Must be other online games you want to play to make PS+ worthwhile?

I bought the ps4 on an impulse purely to play The Last of Us, and anticipating Unchartered 4 as well as No mans sky. So I dont have any other games I'll play online at the moment.

I think I'll have to give it a months trial and see what the fuss is about then. Is it worth levelling up a bit before I go online for strikes and pvp, or will I then get matched with people who think I'll know what I'm doing...

I've spent more money on games I've played less already. £15 is peanuts.

That's a bit of an overstatement in my opinion. I played Destiny for over a month, best part of 100 hours, before I ever set foot in a raid. 100 hours entertainment seems like pretty good value to me, even for a full price game.

The other limitations with not having PS+, now that might be a different matter. I didn't think the game would even run without it to be honest.
 
Not really - the content is exhausted before you hit level 20, then you wonder what's the point levelling up beyond that if you don't have the DLC or can raid. Destiny is pretty much one of the worse games to recommend without PS+ and playing on your own especially if you take the raid out of the picture.

I wouldn't recommend anyone to buy it at any price without the ability to raid or to play MP.

EDIT: Anything that requires matchmaking or the raid is behind the PS+. So that includes strikes AFAIK

Just as we were discussing. Relatively straight forward NF but long and dull.
