Only thing for steam is that its in ur library and you can use the steam servers to download it. After that all that steam does come the 14th is that once installed it and you launch it its just like gta 4 where a social club login pops up and you go in that and then you play through that.

Find it weird that the game isn't steamworks, but will have steam acheivements for those that get steam copy. I've deicded to go physical release, so will prob spending tuesday/wednesday installing from 20 million DVD's....or it'll be a 1gb installer and 58gb "patch" to download

Hey just to confirm with those on Steam, my download finished yesterday but ever since then on the games list next to GTA V it says 'Pre-load complete;unr...' any idea what that unr... part is supposed to be?
Still has the Pre-load button but when I press that it just goes straight to the menu with the choices - Play Grand Theft Auto V, and Play GTA online.
Other games I pre-loaded that button completely disappeared. Just hoping my download isn't corrupt

Eurgghh i need to have Windows Media Player installed to install the R* Social Club software.
It looks like the Rockstar Launcher/Installation Tool uses a sharing system to distribute the media?
I'm on a rubbish 800kb/s connection here, so I downloaded a bandwidth limiting tool (so other people can still use the internet in the house) the Launcher is not just downloading, it's uploading too.
