I bottled, sold some csgo skins as i don't play that anymore, and got the game for £15 from Steam :) now to hope i can get it preloaded before Monday.

neither of the above codes are working for me. Even created a new account. I just get a "Unable to add the voucher" message.

GMG?

Have you tried typing the code in, I used to get problems if I copy and pasted it in, though I don't tend to these days.

They mailed me the following 22% code specifically for GTA V earlier so that should definitely work, though the 25% one worked for me.

SAVE22-ONGTAP-RELOAD

~8 hours download time for me, on a 150 Mbps connection, although the actual download speed seems to be all over the place. Certainly the largest single download I've ever done, and up to now I was thinking there's no way I'd ever need anything faster than this.

Here's hoping it's all worth while.

Where does it say steam? I thought it was a retail CD key, which I don't believe is steam.

Exactly... it's a retail key, which is surely OK for Steam?

ie, it's the same key as buying a disk from a store... which always active on Steam, as long as the game is available on Steam.

I haven't had an issue before with that type of key on Steam... although I haven't bought GTA V yet... should I not buy a key from them?

It's not a steam key, it's a R* Social Club key.

Only place to get Steam keys for this seems to be Steam.

thats terrible speed for 150mbps. im on 170Mbps done it in 45 minutes

it should have taken you an hour max...

you should be downloading at 17-20MB/S via steam. i get 22-25MB/s on steam

:( R* just can't service this demand. The game is still a week away as well so should be downloaded by then ... hopefully :p

Anyone with experience of GTA V know if there is a way to instantly get rid of that wretched pre order bonus? I hate that sort of thing as it ruins the flow and feel of the game as Franklin should start with $50 to his name, not 1.2 million.

Took me 3.5 hours from STEAM on a 40mbit line. Not that it matters as game isn't out for a while yet :).

Will give my PC its annual de-dust at the weekend ready for the warmer temperatures & SLI heat when playing GTA :).

Thanks for the 25% GMG code - worked a treat. Tenner cheaper than steam :D

Kind of annoying though that the 25% off code makes it cheaper than supposed 'VIP' deal price and why are they emailing me today with a 22% code if there was a 25% one available? :o
