970 347.88 issue

Hi guys,

i updated my graphics driver to 347.88 driver update, and now within 5 minutes of running a game, my screens go blank and the game has crashed?

has anyone else had a similar issue?

It's getting annoying, i thought it was a Winodows 10 issue, then installed windows 8.1 ... still have the issue.

I've done complete uninstall and rolled back, this have the same issue.

What does your event viewer tell ya? May give you a hint on what is wrong.

Same with a lot of people. Go to nvidia forum and have a look on there. A lot are very mad as driver roll back don't work.

350.05 is the hotfix

Yes but not too sure how to install hot fix. Is it like just normal driver update.

Ya but u have to install the hotfix while doing a handstand or it won't work properly.

All i see is Display driver nvlddmkm stopped responding and has successfully recovered.

I no they say it don't work but I would try and and uninstall all driver and roll back be for the one what was giving you the error. But since this driver I have been getting really bad stuttering and others as well with other problems and roll backs aren't working. Think nvidia has screwed a lot of people up including my self on this 670 gtx. That's why I am trying everything and asking everything if I need stuff as to see if it something else but it looks like its these drivers and broke our cards. Even format not worked. Then I went and did the last resort of updating the card bios and still stuttering there. Thanks nvidia.

My errors started on the 340 plus drivers it started with freezing screen restart and blue screen caused by error116 which people say is normally driver or card over heating. Since this 340.77 driver that stopped but now getting terrible stutter in games and sometimes it looks like pauses.

347.88 is the first stable driver for me since the new year

Not had a fun experience at all on nvidia drivers at all if im honest.

I had an issue with a previous driver when i first got this and i rolled it back and worked fine. this has just destroyed my card ... i just dunno how a driver can go so wrong to the point i can't play any games! ...

Thanks. Glad I'm not the only one. Think I might send a email and keep spamming until I get one back from nvidia. Going to say I am not the only person and would like a fix now or send me another card out you broke mine. Lol

Just spoke to Nvidia via online chat and got no where... told me to contact overclockers and then told me if they do not help to contact MSI...

i mean GTA is out on Tuesday... how the hell can they bring a driver out that kills the card! ... will ring overclockers in the morning see what they can do! ...
