Reposting this as I realise I should have multi quoted my reply otherwise it doesn't make sense to new people seeing it.

Woke up this morning to the social club programme having a greyed out cancel button and a purple retry button. Is that normal?

My GTA V folder is 60GB but not sure if the download/install failed as it said retry?

Someone said I should have hot retry but I was leaving from work and just shut my PC down, will o have to re download?

Lol I guess that's a no. They missed a trick there though, would have been an excellent feature to set waypoints, view missions, see where crew members are etc

nope still have my old hardware

I7 3820 at 4.5GHz
64 Gig memory
5 SSds
1 TB Mechanical
7970 ghz in crossfire
24 inch at 120 hz benq
mechanical keyboard etc

think that lot should run it ok.

although the only thing is could only download at 2.4 to 2.5 MBs on LLUS through SKY took around 6-7 hours! I am connected directly into the telephone exchange, which is a fibre enabled one which people do get fibre connections from it ..

Not done any upgrades for this game, did some generally upgrades in November which should see me right.

I was weighing up the 390/980Ti GPU, but if R* get this right my 780 should be more than capable. I don't want 4K at 60fps, 60-120 fps on high/ultra @1080 would be great

Finners what happens when you go to the "Play GTAV.exe" & "GTAVLauncher.exe"

I upgraded... Well my sig... Started off as a 970 and escalated from there.. Lol only thing that survived was the 1tb storage and my power supply...

Yep, I did - although it was a combination of Elite: D and GTAV

I upgraded my graphics card and did a bit of OCing of everything recently. Bottlenecked by CPU/RAM now. Wasn't specifically for GTA V, was just an opportune moment to do it. Ironically my "Air boss" is now on an AIO cooler with a "customised" Kraken G10 bracket.

Happened to me this morning when I finished my download. I just hit retry and the screen changed to show how many days/mins etc to activation so you should be fine.

I built a new rig. Needed it anywy to be fair. My bro built an identical one.

Thanks, hope mine is alright. Will try firing it up tonight and guess it should load up the countdown timer of it OK.

If you click the "PlayGTAV.exe" a window should upload saying something like

"GTAV will be avilible to play in 3d 6h 23m"

If it wasn't fully donwloaded, click the GTAVLauncher.exe and it will restart the dll from where it left it.

From looking at that interactive map "Eclipse Towers" seems to have the best amount of cars, 4 different apartments with 10 spaces each, so space for 40 cars.

Costs a far bit mind, $300K-$400k per apartment, think I will buy one with my pre-order bonus.

Can't you only buy one though?
