***Official GTAV PC Thread*** [Important warning updated in the OP]

GTA V causing high CPU usage and memory leaks.

I haven't tested launching via script yet, but both times I BSOD yesterday I had alt-tabbed and I also never killed the GTA Launcher process (though I did notice it running). I didn't get any warnings about memory being low, though, so I'm going to test CPU stability as a precaution.

The game may run incredibly well when it is running, but it does appear to have a few system bugs.

You have to half it, it just adds both together, you're just seeing the usage for both cards together, say you use 5/6gb, each card is using 2.5Gb :)

I know that but it doesnt appear to be the case in this instance as the game starts lag spiking when crossfire is enabled but is fine when it is disabled. The game appears to be thinking i have a 6gb gpu and trying to use it all as it see's the 6gb.

I plan on buying an apartment, maybe a garage, and a car with the bonus money.

What is the best apartment or apartment+garage combo? Budget doesn't matter, I have about 800,000 so can spend a fair amount on this. I don't want to go out of my door and be shot; nice views would be good.

56.9gb current speed 4mb/sec Oh it is gonna happen tonight!!! :):D

20% discount elsewhere swayed my buying decision though!
More fool me obvs though haha wish id seen the download issue before i clicked buy

Haha, yeah it would have swayed mine too, but I pre-ordered in like March some time and didn't even bother looking for discounts, rockstar have had like £150 from me for this game now

This has likely been answered but I have about 30 pages to read through from where I last got to on this thread...

So, when going online I can play for about 15 minutes but then the game crashes and I get logged out of social club. I have tried down scaling quite a few graphics but this still happens.

Can anyone offer any advice?

Does it not need another 5gb patch after the main download? I have one hour left on main download.....

This batch file sorted the stuttering I was getting on the map and occasionally in game...

Code:
start steam://rungameid/271590
timeout 60
taskkill /F /IM gtavlauncher.exe
wmic process where name="GTAV.exe" CALL setpriority "high priority"

Not sure, thought someone said it does another 365meg and then another 5gb worth of patches. Might be wrong though.

I hope your wrong too. This suspense is killing me! Purposely held off playing on ps3 as it looked garbage.
Hope you get there soon buddy. I feel your pain :)

EDIT: Nope your right 55gb total now

Yeah 24 hours roughly so far lol, 8meg down and the wife/kids needing to use the internet has meant a few pauses. Good idea not playing the PS3 version, I got GTA 5 with the console when I got one for demon souls and the framerates during the first 30 mins made me turn it off and never play it again.

Is it just me or is anisotropic filtering broken? I have it set at x16 but textures are very blurry from a relatively short way ahead.

Creating my own radio track list is cool but I think it introduces some stuttering :(
