Actually I find the online mode ok, I am not touching the story until I upgrade my GPU end of the month so I can whack all the settings up. Only problem I have with the game is the way the vehicles handle, even with a pad they seem much worse then IV imo. With IV I used to play with keys and mouse when driving but you really need a pad on V as the cars just slide about to much.
 
I am getting 3 issues with this game.

Firstly I cannot use fullscreen, only borderless window. Though I don't really know the difference for a single card user.

Secondly it crashes after a couple hours. Super annoying.

Thirdly and worst is that there is horrible lag and frame dropping in all menus. It took nearly 20 minutes to change my controls and using the map is an absolute ball ache. GPU and CPU usage are all over the place when in the menus as well.
 
I'm considering adding everyone on social club and searching for games that way, finding crew member lobbies seems busted atm atm.
 
Im finding the whole thing much better than on PS3. Loving it.

BTW you wont join Crew members in their Freeroam if their game is full so youll often land with 1 or 2 people rather than a whole bunch.
 
These things are really really really really really really ****ing me of with MP:

- the loading, I literally spend the majority of time on the ****ing loading screen
- when racing games etc. are over, get kicked out of the lobby and put onto a different server to everyone else which results in even more loading
- not much point trying to win races when you got high rank players with better driving etc. skills, they just win so easily
 
Brilliant night tonight, 13 people all on TS doing an online racing playlist.

OMG the rage when you get spun out...amazing! Must say that is the most fun I've had online in a long time.

yeah cracking lolz, incredible mess with 16 crew racers..thx sadistic Chippy night time races with rain. Good fun, looking forward to that again tomorrow even if it is an absolute cluster**** :)

So much money on offer from those 9 race championship, I came out with £57k to deposit.

The loading is exactly why I've uninstalled the game, :o
