unfair advantage! If P Cars is as good as it appears then I am considering one as no other choice if I want a wheel.
Its not too bad with a pad, but the super cars such as the mclaren P1 you'll not hold it without ABS and traction control etc all enabled, you'll lock the brakes up and then spin out of the corners as I don't think anyone has the dexterity with triggers that pedals provide, i could be wrong, but you'd need to be very skilled.
I must also stress, the game is going to develop well after release. There is a lot of DLC planned, which sounds bad, but this is a huge game being developed by a very small team, and their vision is to provide more content over the months .
so what you're buying now is highly polished, but expect day one patches, and loads of DLC (some free as well) over the next few months.
Classes need to be padded out, like touring car events has only a few cars. But eventually cars like Nissan Primera etc are planned, but for now its BMW, Ford, Mercedes etc..
GT3 has Aston Martin, Mclaren, Audi, Ginetta etc, as well as BMW but no Ferrari.
Open wheel is firmly fiction, no formula 1 license but the formula A included is pretty damn good, but don't expect to race a Mclaren against a Mercedes, its one class of car with community created liveries.
Game is very addictive mind, I've clocked up over 250 hours in beta testing over the years.172 hours via steam clock, and I played the game for hours before it even got put on to steam... So if I can put those hours into a game that was in alpha, then the game we're getting on the 8th I am sure the true racing fan will really love.
