Bought the game on Monday from Greenman and authroised game to download from Rockstar. When I run the setup the launcher opens installs DirectX, Social club and C++ and then nothing. I've tried mulitiple times, creating a new windows user, disabling graphics card, closing down anti virus.
Still nothing anyone had similar problems or got a solution? I've raised a ticket with Rockstar but heard nothing back.
System is a i7 4790, Saphire 280x, 8gb ram. 105gb free on SSD.

GPU memory is not added together when in SLI / Crossfire. You have 2GB of total video memory (even though the game will say 4GB, you just / by the number of cards. Mine shows as 8GB but I still only have 4GB usable).
2x 6950's is about equal to a 7950. What settings are you using and what is the memory usage it gives you ingame?

Turn down the people variety or whatever that slide setting is then on the 6950 you can have the highest texture settings along with others.

I'm beginning to think the Steam version would've been a better purchase.
Just had a 50mb update to set me up for a further 350mb+ update. With steam, a walk in the park... with Rockstar Social Clubs ISDN internet connection, it's a different matter.
Yesterday's 90 minute DVD installation is a record I hope never to beat.
At least the disc box had that 'new rubber' sort of smell, which made things slightly less irritating.
