lets talk wallets!

How often do you unlock your front door,
And always worried I'll lose my lose key, especially on nights out, where I only take my front door key.

And yes phones are promising but security and financial sector are slow, so this is a long way off.

Lock and unlock it once a day, often more.

Its a nice small form for wallet and keys.

My worry is this: lose/get your wallet nicked and they have your address, and your house keys (or lose one and you'll have to change your locks, not ideal!)

I can't get on with wallets although i really want too. I just can't find one i like, i hate things in my pockets too so just carrying my bank card and id is easier for me.

Some of the wallets people have are absolutely horrible, those Paul Smith ones, LOL. The kickstarter one seems handy, but the size of american notes is a lot different to UK ones.

As others have said card holder. So much smaller and nicer. Notes just fold up in.
I have an omega wallet, but thinking about backing clover wallet as I want my house key built in, there's a fair few about so trying to decide which is the best.

That's the worst idea in the world, okay, not the worst but just a bad idea. In addition to what has said, trying to get the right key out is a PITA. Picture this:-

You come home from shopping, carrying 3 carry bags of food, got to your front door, you manage to get 1 hand free and got your keys out in a bunch. All I do is shake it and I can see and find the right one and grab the right key and open the door with 1 hand.

Can you do that with this weird contraption of a wallet?

And if you have 2 different locks on your front door?

Or you leaving the house you grab the wallet, you better check all 8 keys to make sure the front door key is one of them... And not loose and somewhere in the house because you will end up locking yourself out.

Then there is the whole all the eggs in 1 basket thing.

If I lose my keys, which is most likely due to misplaced instead of theft, and even if it's stolen, they don't know where I live. If they stole this, they have my driving licence which they know where I live.

And what about keys that don't fit in it? Car keys? Do I need a separate bunch for keys anyway?

Then what's the point of this in the first place?

And there is the whole thing about being bulky on top.

Have always gone for slim wallets, more so since using less and less cash. Latest was one i picked up from around the counter in Superdry, looks a bit like this one but different colours (and not sure it has the middle pocket):

I have 3 or 4 debit/credit cards in one side, then driving license, mini Nectar card and one or two folded notes in the other. It's tiny and due to being fabric has a good flex to it. £8 I paid I think.

I look forward to card number going down as more and more is possible on my phone.

Not going to stop stuff getting wet however.

On my second one of these, really like them, nice and simple and little pouch for coins which I can remember from previous threads is a bone of contention but I like it :p
