****The Official The Avengers: Age of Ultron Thread ****

...and the plane went into a black hole that turned into a fifth dimensional bookcase...would the hammer be black or gold :D

So what happens if you try to lift the coffee table its on? I'm assuming you'd be able to pick it up (indirectly) otherwise if it was on a plane it would never take off. So the rule about lifting it only applies to direct contact

It does, if you've seen the first Thor film, his hammer is sunk in concrete, what they do is dig it around the hammer and transport it, but can't actually pick the hammer up.

Saw it this evening. Thoroughly enjoyable romp as always. Some entertaining lines and plenty of visual gags. Doesn't hang about either, flew past - and there's a hell of a lot going on! Wasn't entirely sold on the plot but, hell, I can suspend my disbelief for the sake of entertainment.

Were there any after credit scenes? I heard somewhere there's an extra scene after the actual movie, but none after the credits.

While I think you are right about being able to pick up what the hammer is on, in the movie they didn't actually move the hammer at all they built the complex around the hammer.

Yes there is a mid credit scene.

Also saw this last night. Brilliant film imo.

No sooner had it started and we we're at the end.

Great action, plot is good for what it is.

Left thoroughly entertained

Yeah you're right, just skipped through Thor to see what happened :p

Booked in for superscreen at o2 tomorrow night, can't wait.

Not Whedon's fault by any means but part of me isn't expecting much story wise when you know half of the characters are going to be around after Marvel announce Civil War/Infinity War/everything else.

Wouldn't be too sure about that, get the impression one character may not be returning.

I've admittedly not read anything to Infinity War but I can only see one character as maybe disposable, which personally would bum me out. MYSTERY RIGHT NOW EH.

Anyone going to be the first OcUK'er to see this at a Midnight viewing?

I'm very tempted but I've a lot on at work which is a bit tedious so the lack of sleep would probably get me fired when I nod off during a presentation :D

Just got back from seeing it, it was a good film don't get me wrong, but I feel massively disappointed.
