lets talk wallets!

2 is absolutely rubbish, just why, this is an absolutely stupid statement. Later this year I'll be living alone and still use that or similar.

3, you realise deadlock is an internal mechanism and has nothing to do with the shape of key. Many Yale are deadlocks.
So again absolutely rubbish.

Most wallets rule out lots of people, for many different reasons.

When you are on a night out, do you take all your keys?
I don't. Perfect for said people as well. Regardless if car key fits in or not. Lots of people even have a second wallet for nights put with bare essentials.

Never understand people who carry all their keys all the time.

So why did you made that comment about it's okay because there will be someone at home? And what are you going to do if you lose your wallet?

The deadbolt was just to say its a big thick key, from now on I'll just say big thick key.

Yes, I take all my keys out when I go out, I sometimes even drive there. And no I don't drink and drive. There may have been 3 times in 4 years I actually unclip the car key out. In those instance I don't take a spare wallet, I don't take a wallet at all, 1 card, cash and phone and stick it in the pocket. You don't need more than 1 card if you are really minimising, REALLY minimising. 2 max if you count ID.

I really think there small wallets isn't solving anything.

I beg to differ. It solves a problem I and many others have. If it didn't there wouldn't be an increasing market for it, with multiple companies providing similar wallets.

Why did I say it, because some people don't seem to have back ups. But you ignored the bit about having key at parents as well. It makes no difference if you lose everything you lose everything.

I hate bulk so I use a leather Duffer credit card holder. 2 cards, paper money, driving license and a front door key.

I normally put my change in charity boxes or give it to homeless people so they can go and buy some beer or a sandwich.

Most bars and shops take contactless payments now so the need for cash is becoming obsolete.

Contactless is an absolute freakin' godsend. I use it so often that I sometimes get confused when I have to enter a PIN.

Wish they would increase the limit of £20. Seems to be the limit across the board for all credit cards.

Maybe stop raiding places then riding off at speed? :p

But on a more serious note,:

Hah!

Some form of authentication will likely be required for higher values (beyond the £20 getting bumped up a little over time). Apple pay using a fingerprint is one example.

Just wish more places were. Contactless, still pretty rare around these parts. Other than service stations and fast food.

Is there a reason Tesco don't appear to be using it. Or are they just waiting to combine it with a bigger store refit.

I've got an Oxmox one same as this but with different graphics

http://www.amazon.co.uk/oxmox-New-C...8&qid=1429605233&sr=8-1&keywords=oxmox+wallet

Got it from TK Maxx for about £15

It says it's leather but feels more like thin rubbery neoprene.

Most of my wallets only last about a year before they completely fall to bits, but this ones lasted me about 5 years so far and showing no signs of wearing out, not a single frayed stitch, extremely tough.

No, but that wallet doesn't suit the following if you want all your keys together.

1 - people who drives.
2 - people who lives alone.
3 - people who have dead bolt locks.

That alone rules out plenty of people, and you have to wonder who their target demographic are.

mrk tried the minimalist wallet, ask him how that turned out lol

You had the wallet with the rubber rings right? are you still using that?

it wouldnt work for my house (mortice key) either

No, why the hell would I do that?

So you sit on top of your car keys and wallet full of cards, etc?

Either you must be extremely fat so you have lots of cushioning or you don't care about damaging said items.

I wouldn't dream about sitting on my car key it would most likely break (it's one of those fob things the car has a start/stop button) and cause me pain.

Always liked the idea of a leather card holder personally instead of a wallet but not everywhere accepts debit cards and there's not much space for notes in one of them. Would end up dropping notes trying to retrieve them from a card slot especially on a night out lol!

I'd be quite happy with a more robust version of a "Jimi," the plastic flip lid cannot take much strain before starting to shear at the fold point, but I do like its compact size.

I've always had Animal wallets - never let me down.

This is my current one:- http://www.amazon.co.uk/Animal-Pinn...r_1_4?s=luggage&ie=UTF8&qid=1429521068&sr=1-4

As for rain? Well, it's been through the washing machine and tumble dryer numerous times with no ill effects :o

You want a tough wallet then this is for you. Not small but you know that it's in your pocket.
That looks perfectly fine, except for the stupid zip compartment.

mines made out of a cement bag. got it in cambodia

i liked all the graphics on it and inside it had all the warnings one might find such as dont get in eyes etc and had some really cool prominent stuff on the back from the cement bag. unfortunately the graphics have all worn off but its still a solid wallet. different to every one elses leather chappies

I live alone and don't even use a wallet.

debit card in right front pocket.
notes folded up and in small pocket on jeans.
coins ???!!?!?!? they go in a bottle at home who wants to carry coins?
keys I carry 2 keys and a fob on a keyring that sits in my front left pocket.

Why do people need to carry multiple different cards every day or a massive pocket of change and cash.

I use cash as little as I can get away with there's almost no need to carry physical money these days.

your keyring doesn't need 20 keys either unless your a security guard or something
