I'm new at Overclockers forum so I thought I'd say hello and wish everyone a happy St George's day!

Proud to be English and with all this other stuff going on in the country right now, I will be celebrating England and raising my glass high!

Follow your spirit, and upon this charge Cry 'God for Harry, England, and Saint George!

Happy St Georges Day to you too!

St George! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saint_George

Not only am I English, My Fathers birth name was George too (Died 2007, age 86) so this is also of some personal significance for me as well.

(Interestingly , I have actually had customers recently wondering whether or not I would be working. I hadn't really thought about this, but perhaps there is actually a new "Bank Holiday" in the making here?)

RACIST ENGLISH *******

Well, that's what everyone says when someone flies the ST Georges Cross, and I am ashamed at people

Really is a shame, and I truly hope you fly the flag HIGH as it's the ENGLISH flag, not the UK flag, so have EVERY right.. ANd for the lefty ******s, NO IT'S NOT RACIST

The Welsh fly their flag it's ok, Ireland fly their flag it's ok, the Scots fly their flag it's ok.. But as soon as the English fly their flag racism and chaos ensues.. WTF

Happy st Georges day everyone, heres a toast to all George and Georgia out there!

and please spare the israeli turkish foreigner send him back comments which are repeated every single year, its a celebration.

They've put a huge St George's flag up on the City hall in Nottingham, they do most years. Amazingly nobody gets offended. Why is that?

Because all these stories about folk getting offended by the St Geroge flag have about as much basis in reality as the old "the EU want to ban our sausages" malarkey you get from the usual "it's PC gone mad so it is guv'ner" crowd.

Happy St Georges day from a proud, independence supporting Scot.

He wasn't even English.

He never even visited England.

What a load of crap!

But another bank holiday is needed though, so why not... Happy St George's Day!:p

I see you stand like greyhounds in the slips,
Straining upon the start. The game's afoot:
Follow your spirit, and upon this charge
Cry 'God for Harry, England, and Saint George!'

Happy St George's Day to all. :)
