Worst customer service ever?

I must say that, I eat a lot of papajohns and that seems to be a fairly normal amount of toppings and they often have a very very thick crust on them

If you think that's normal, and by inference acceptable because you continue to eat A LOT of them, then I suggest you start eating some better quality food :p

Why would i when it costs me less than a pound for a XXL pizza with vouchers :)

I wouldn't pay for real money for them as at the 4-5 different locations I have ordered from the often seem lacking on the topping and not very cheesy

The few times I have ordered from Papa Johns the pizza has looked like the above posted picture and tastes just as bad. Its the main reason I stopped ordering from there.

Why not just go down to the store and create a scene in front of customers?

I've heard of the British having a stiff upper lip but complaining on a computer forum is just bizarre.

Have you intentionally not shown the other half of the pizza too?

Compensation Culture springs to mind here.

You clearly haven't read the thread have you?

It was a huge chain. Papa you-know-who. We've emailed them but as it's a franchise I don't think much will get done.

Papa Jones used to be so good and has fallen so far in the last few years. Pizza is horribly over priced anyway. Domino's is the only good chain left but you're better off buying a supermarket one and adding your extra toppings if you want

I think Papa is a franchise now? The reason my local one is rubbish now is because it got overtaken by some asians and they make every pizza have a 'kick' i begged them to stop putting spices in my pizza but they just can;t do it, so i stopped ordering from them

Was just about to say this. I've covered every single point he / she makes in previous posts bar the half a pizza photo. Why would I hide the other half of the pizza? You think that'd make up for it?

And what compensation are you referring to? Emotional suffering due to receiving a sub-par pizza?

What's your angle here?

We usually drive to a Domino's a few miles away as our local one is just as bad a Papa John's. I must say that the Norbury Domino's are bloody fantastic, it's amazing what a difference two stores with the same name can have.

It's true it's store dependent, Pizza Hut is usually the worst but my local one is almost as good as dominos!

This, I moved house two years ago. Our local Domino's is good, but I didn't realise that the Domino's we used prior to the move were actually awesome, epic levels of cheese and toppings in comparison to any other store i've used since.

Because it's **** food?

Sure, it's fine as a 'treat' (if ***** food can be classed as a treat anyway) but to eat it A LOT as you say, you're just putting lots of crap food into your body and your body is going to end up crap - and fat :p

This is what I usually do. Those cheap cheese/tomato pizzas you get from supermarkets that are like 2 quid, then you just buy some nice ham, cheese, sausage, or whatever veg tickles your fancy and build up the toppings. Works out much cheaper than dominos and tastes fresher too.

Of course, little more effort needed but you do get the enjoyment of a proper custom pizza.

Feta and Jalapeno bread lol..

im sure after a few emails and tweets you'll get your money back or a £20 voucher or something else. (petrol bombed)

I never rated papa johns out of all the delivery chains, my london one was spartan with the toppings.

It's a shame that you couldn't go in at the time. would have taught them a lesson.
Just out of curiosity, did you shout or swear at them when you called them? or were you calm?
I would never expect a franchise to hang up on a customer

I don't no about the franchised chains as I never order from them (expensive & lack of toppings) but the local arab/turkish owned indie takeaways are usually almost always bad at handling complaints.

Then they wonder why their business drops off and end up closing after a year or 2 before being taken over and the cycle re-begins.
