No point to this thread just to moan and it was more entertaining than answering the "how attractive am I" question.

I have NEVER been as sick as have been in the last 24 hours.

Had to get off the train while on the way to work. Sat on the platform for an hour trying to get up as the world was spinning and the nausea was lvl 100.

Eventually got on the train to go back home. 1 station from home the nausea overcame me and I puked into a copy of the Metro.

Got home, puked some more, passed out, woke up, puked passed out. this went on until the other half came home and she stroked my back which made me puke even more.

I have never been so sick that I couldn't stand up.

also, what is the yellow and err Black stuff that comes up when you can't puke anymore?

Pass me the worlds smallest violin.

ktnxbai.

It happens and you're just bringing up bile. Took me almost 4 days to be back to 100% as I couldn't drive due to the nausea.

That should make you feel better...

It's pretty grim. Got a bad dose after eating in a mexican and never been so weak after a whole day puking every 30 mins regular as clock work. Worst bit was one visit to the toilet and got a double ender.
Got taken into a&e by worried folks, chucked up just before triage so probably had that post nausea 'I don't feel so bad' moment and then had to wait 5 hours which was hell.
Ended up there over night with a couple drips to rehydrate. Felt so guilty next morning I was hogging a bed I left asap, managed to get myself home and then spent the next week in bed feeling very sorry for myself.

Unpleasant. Was years before even the thought of a Mexican didn't make me feel ill.

Man up - If you haven't got man flu then you are OK.

Love the violin.-- Some of you guys are genii :D

Dave :(

Sounds like the time I had a whole box of multipack Kinder Bueno for lunch. It was the first day at a new job, didn't know the area well and all I had in the car was a box of Bueno multipack, so sat there for an hour munching away.

The vomit stains in the carpark remained for weeks!

Malibu does that to me even now :( on account of an "incident" at uni a long time ago... :p

I believe it was from rice.

We had a take away on Monday night. Some of the rice was left over and I had it for dinner on Tuesday. Done this plenty of times before.

The rice must have been nearly bad on the Monday night. It is the only thing that only I ate.

Crab with a violin. Amazing :) thank you.

Might not be food poisoning though, Norovirus has the same results. Damn that was a horrible week.

Sympathy here. The one and only time I had food poisoning I genuinely thought/wished I was going to die. Could not eat or take any water for 2 or 3 days, everything just came up or out of one orifice or another. Seriously don't know where all the liquids came from! The worst bit was maybe even the heartburn :/

I had food poisoning when I was a kid on a German foreign exchange program, that was a difficult few days. I remember the mum taking me to the doctors, was horrible not being able to understand what they were talking about, but she was very caring and understanding.

The lad I was staying with didn't cook some meat properly and it went south pretty quickly.

Had to get off the train while on the way to work. Sat on the platform for an hour trying to get up as the world was spinning and the nausea was lvl 100.

Should have used the resist poison potion.

I have it once and it was awful. Just constapuking all day. Had a glass of coke and it just turned into brown froth. The feeling when you know it's almost over and you're weak and shivering is pretty cool...

Never drink water coming out of a hillside because some random dude tells you its been filtered through layers of rock and will be the best water you will ever taste...

I've had it a few times, the worst time was after a Hungry Horse 20oz Steak and Mega ice cream thingy - was a messy 2 days trying to throw up all that meat.

Drink lots of water, it won't help the up chuck but you'll need to re-hydrate a fair bit.

I got food poisoning about a month ago. Second time in about 20 years. It's horrible, but thankfully lasted only about 24 hours.

My first was on holiday when I was young and I got Campylobacter and Salmonella at the same time. Was out of action for months at home and in hospital, but I think it must have done wonders for my immune system because I rarely get ill these days.
