It was me that said about photo mode. Its in the pause menu I know, but when you complete a race, you're presented a replay option. Go there and then try and find photo mode, you cant access photo mode from replay mode.

I think that is a big omission. As I'd say taking pictures during replay is perhaps the best place to do it..

Gt5 etc had such an excellent photo mode. Can't see why project cars cant be the same, I'd never take photos whilst racing.. Which, apart from your garage is the only other place to take photos, is during a race, not during a replay.
 
They've clearly missed some very small and simple feats. The gameplay though... It's flawless.
 
It's VERY tough in the rain, I was all over the track bar facing forward.

Also, had no issue with the computer correcting me when I entered the pits...

Yeah, I cant see anything either, not great but at least photo mode came day one, unlike Drive Club...

I'm something like that can be added in a patch, not the end of the world.

My opinion using a controller the game is terrible with super sensitive handling which results in your car being all over the place with the slightest of inputs. Now having just had a quick 20 mins at a friends house i can only say WOW. This game was clearly designed to be played with a wheel end of. The dif is unreal. Opinion one of the worst car games, if not the worst last 2 gens with a pad, with a wheel its up there with some of the best

No such issues here with a pad.

Obviously will play it when I am home to find out for myself but the general consensus seems to be good but buggy. The ones reported seem annoying but not game breaking which is something I suppose.
 
Game definitely has some bugs. A couple of times i have lead a race from the start to then notice i am getting blue flags and i am mysteriously P12 and when i cross the line my laps don't increase.

Also my kart is the wrong bloody number.
 
No problems controlling cars with a ds4 gamepad. I'm not loving the performance mind. I don't mind dropped frames, but I do mind when the screen tears , it's so odd, as its feeling rock steady at race starts. Then get into race, say 5 laps into a 10 lap race, and the frames drop and screen tearing , and the replays are simply awful , why didn't SMS just lock the replays to 30 fps and be done with it no ideas.

I'd post on the WMD forum about bugs etc but to be honest most of the members there protect this game like its their life. And senior SMS members ignore or shoot you down as they don't take criticism very well at all even if its very constructive...

I'm a bit 50/50 on the whole game at the moment...
 
Also i started in Karting, can't i jump up any higher without waiting on invites and nonsense like that?
 
Can some-one explain the career mode in this game. I've started off in zero to hero and went for karting, will this take me through all the leagues including touring cars, or do I need to start a new game for each league?

Karting is so hard its unreal, playing on hard with everything off apart from abs. Not really enjoying it if im honest looking forward to touring though.
