Queens scout with full auto and spray and play.

Dead orbit shotgun, solar, shot package, rifled barrel, rodeo. Happy withy that lot
 
Oh well. It's not going to be Datto that gets Gjallarhorn nerfed. It's going to be all the people uploading videos to YouTube of them self defeating Skolas in under 40 seconds.:rolleyes:

If anyone on X1 still has nightfalls and the weekly todo I'll be around later today(after I get some sleep) and tonight, and over the next 4 days for prison of elders :D
 
Another NF down (thanks to Davie for lending a had) and still no Etheric light. One more to go so fingers crossed...

Used up all of my commendations and managed to get a few pieces of armour for my Titan, Vanguard sniper (which is naff), Vanguard LMG (ok) & finally the Vanguard Auto rifle. Slight problem with the last one as now I have nothing to spend marks on.

Re-rolled it and now I have a legendary Suros Regime.. (Field scout, Focused fire, Glass half full). On a side note, Suros is very nice at 365 attack..

Starting the process of scrubbing old stuff for new now. I am being quite ruthless with my weapons as I need the space.

Other than that just enjoying the game. :)
 
Did a couple of Nighfalls last night. Got Thunderlord on one (shard as I already have a 365 version) and Nothing Manacles for my Warlock on the second. Pleased with that!
 
Nice, haven't seen any new exotics yet. I want the new titan legs that give you a damage boost on shoulder charge when you're airborne.

Apparently arc blades appear on your knees and you do 300% damage :D One shot bladedancers/radiant warlocks etc :)
 
Having spent the last few months stuck on 30 (granted I've not played a huge amount in that time), I downloaded HoW last night and am now 32 (and a half :p)!

Absolutely love PoE, my kind of gameplay! How do I get keys though? Is that from the Queens bounties?
 
Keys you get from completing the story, from the ether chests that appear after the Pack of Wolves events, and as a random drop from PoE small chests/completion rewards.
 
I found Ether chests a great way to farm keys, I just afk on archers lane on Moon, put the volume up, and when you hear a drop ship I just went and killed it. Got 3 keys like this on Sunday in 2 hours while taking care of other tasks.
 
You got lucky with your drops! I only got two keys with a *lot* of grinding, 3-4 chests each time on Skywatch. Cba doing that any more.....not too bothered about the queen's wrath weapons anyway.
 
Which is the best location to farm the keys? Skywatch or Venus doing the run between Ember caves and the other place straight after (forget its name). I assume its not moon?

Usually can only manage 2 runs on the ember caves chest and 2 or 3 on the second Venus location chest. On skywatch you can get 4 or 5 if it spawns by the door but frequency wise not sure which is better.

I've been quite lucky with keys had about 5 or 6 in total, although I'd filled up my inventory slots of all 3 characters by that point. :p

I find Skywatch to be best as each chest spawn point can be opened at least 3 times, and even up to 5 or 6 times if it spawns by the fence. I complete the event and then sit on the roof of the building in the middle of the arena and wait for the next one.

Just got my 6th chest key, and 9th overall. :)
 
I'm right in thinking that the big chest only drops Exotics and Queen's Wrath legendary weapons at the moment?

I can live without having piles of keys, main thing I'm after is Cores and Etheric Light, which are completion rewards :)
 
Im only level 27 but im strugling with what to do now, only just got the dark bellow, i tried to do vault of glass but when i joined i was on my own? do i need to know 5 other people to do it with? as i dont know anyone else that plays destiny, how do i go about finding people? i thought it auto finds people and you join as a team like on the other levels

Use destinylfg.net or destinylfg.com. There's quite a lot to take in the first time you do Vault of Glass so it really helps if you have a mic.
