Yes for HoW weapons (and I believe Iron Banner) only.

Have the weapon quipped and take it to the gunsmith. The option to reroll will appear at the bottom. Each roll costs:

- Weapon
- 1 mote of light
- 15 weapon parts
- 250 glimmer

All stats will be reset on the weapon (any XP put in will be lost) and the perks will be random.
 
Got a jellyhorn last night woot woot, got through 28 and 32, that cabal boss at the end was a pain but for the last run we just decided to blast it with rockets, was pretty easy then.
 
Yep just smash him, did a quick 32 on my hunter on my lunch break, no probs. Saving the armor core to try that package next week :>

Bought 3 engrams, nothing new but I desperately needed the shards.

How are people working out re-rolling? With all the new perks and me not really playing IB Im not that au fait whats the perfect rolls for particular weapon types.

After trying re-rolling a few times I realised it might be better just to horde the new weapons (inc the PoE stuff) until I have a fair few before I even bother to re-roll and upgrade them - ultimately theres old raid weapons Id rather use etheric light on first before I consider the new stuff...

Is there some guide for all the new perks and which ones are now available for each weapon type? Motes of light while easily found now are still precious to me :p

I spent about 10k in glimmer and 40 + motes of light getting Crowd Control Extended mag and Outlaw on my Queens Auto Rifle. I'm now trying to get Zen Moment and Outlaw on my Red Hand IX !

Thanks dude - sounds like re-rolling is an in-game version of Destiny :p. Think Ill definitely get a horde of weapons and choose the ones with the best stats to re-roll rather than just do whatever I pick up purely because they can be re-rolled...

Love a 2 magazine Arc tracking rocket launcher first!

EDIT: Looking at that last guide am I right in thinking that pre-HoW weapons (including anything from IB past and probably future) have their own perks tables that arent shared?!? Think I read the opposite a few days ago...

Hmm think I'm gonna ignore non-'raid' set weapons because just too many out there and just think of PoE set for now. Whatever complements those beautiful VoG and CE weapon sets :)

Only got the Queens machine gun so far that I will re-roll as think I'm gonna waste a lot of MoL with Xur

A lot of will depend on your play style and just what you like to use! Those guides on reddit Frodders linked are full of useful info on the perks and what to look out for if you're not sure.

They removed some perks from certain weapons I think. A lot of the new ones give one benefit but take something away, like less range but more stability etc.

One roll is all it took to get exactly that on my Red Hand. I never managed to get it to drop before HoW came out so I was looking forward to buying it from New Monarchy. Before I got a chance to though, it popped out of an engram and, one roll later, I have exactly what I wanted :)
 
House of Wolves has really completed Destiny for me. If it had launched with this I think it would have been a shoe in for most GOTY awards. Of course the balancing it's brought can only really comes extensive playing, but still.

If anyone was on the fence before, if you can pick up a cheap pre-owned copy and snap up the DLC you've got yourself a game I wouldn't hesitate to recommend now, especially for that price.
