Certainly looks different, but just like the 480's vs 600 series I thought they just looked girly in comparison got to have big :D

Has anyone in this forum turned in to Tiny Tom Logan? Have not a care about how fancy it looks just hope the performance is right.

I think there should be 2 threads for each impending major GPU launch, one for discussion and one for posting the actual info - no discussion allowed just the usual fake graphs, links to videocardz etc

It looks like it has screw-in pipe connectors.

EK WaterBlock

Hope it's like the EK then . The proper block that is :p

lol! but a lot of people do care or there wouldnt be so many cases with side windows
i think they might start to go out of fashion tho!?
im over them anyway
some of the old lian-li cases with no sidewindows still look the best to me, more....grownup

my Phanteks looks just like a Lian anyway, it looks miles better without the window, much classier... if i want to see inside i just remove the panel for a few days.........

I do like the look of it, looks premium quality.

BTW guys, the sideshot with the rad is a photoshop pic someone made it after the first rendered pic. So don't think its anywhere near correct.

Anyone half serious about water-cooling will be removing the standard block as I doubt that out of the box it will support Crossfire, too much of a faff. Unless, there is a sea change going on and Sapphire et. all want to take on EVGA in this space and provide the necessary bridges and connectors as OEM parts.

EVGA do an 'ok' job in this area but their supply chain is awful, maybe an opportunity here for an AMD vendor to step-up.

I would imagine that other vendors will provide variations on the theme over time, without the the pump etc. i.e. Powercolor LCS range uses EK blocks.

As it stands it looks like the standard 390X config will be aimed at the casual gamer who either has a CPU closed loop already or, who is air-cooling at present.

Depends on your case, assuming they're on a 120mm rad a 750d can easily accommodate 4 of these. Would look a bit mad but it has more than enough mounts to do it.

Be interested to see if they have a better iteration of clock boost, nvidia's implementation is far more interesting, all amd's does is start turning down clocks due to heat :(
