sup guys, long time no see.

is HoW #worth £20?

how's the game balance atm?

seems you can upgrade ALL purple/yellow gear to the max light level now, sounds good, was pretty annoying that ur old gear was instantly useless at start of crota, so glad they fixed that.

no new raid, only 3 man content? does it have matchmaking?
are the new story missions better than the crap that came with crota..?

Only the initial lvl 28 version the 32, 34 and 35 required premade fireteams

Still re-use some areas but there are new areas too and i enjoyed them, and most seem to have.

The story missions are decent enough, but then the TDB ones were fine too, but once the story is done there's little point re-doing them.

Prison of Elders is great, but you definitely need a team on comms for the higher level ones, matchmaking would be a nightmare.

trials of osiris is impossible unless you have 3 people good to decent at PVP. you cannot carry a weak player through with you unless your a pro level player.

prison of elders you need 1 titan at least and all 3 need to have 365 gjallahorns and at least 30 synths if your looking to do 34/35. it's possible with 2 gjallahorns and 1 titan i think thats how i did 34.

don't try going in with 2/3 hunters.

OK....Thanks for the advice

Yes, Trails is tough (even tougher to go 9-0) but not impossible. I would recommend getting together a set of guys you know, get set up with the right weapons (there are lots of threads on Reddit here) and communicate lots (this is the key, practice on skirmish if you need to)

PoE at level 35, you do not need "at least one Titan". We have done it 3x now and only once did we have a Titan. Our last 2 clears were Warlock/Hunter/Hunter and Hunter/Warlock/Warlock. All three times we only had two 365 Gallys. You'll also only burn through that many synths if you're constantly wiping on Skolas.

Bladedancer hunters are actually very useful for defusing the mines and getting revives in. Sonny have you cleared 35 yet? Give me a shout if you need any tips ;)

Edit: I reckon Sonny might have blocked me, which is a shame :P

I have cleared 35 PoE three times now and also completed three flawless trials cards. In a nutshell, you are talking utter nonsense.

Any1 got any tips for which primary I should "ascend" out of suros regime / bad juju / red death / hard light..?

Also, what should I do with old ascendant / radiant mats???

I recently ascended Suros, having completely neglected it before hand. It was a choice between that or Bad Juju and I have to say that I absolutely love the Suros now. It's a brilliant weapon

I have read nothing about this dlc but seems to be getting much better reviews than TDB did. Quick question, as there is no raid what is the new max level? I assume this is reached by using etheric light to upgrade armour?

Max is 34. You can get there in a week guaranteed if you can run the 34 PoE with two chars. Less if you get lucky with etheric dropping from the NF.

Some good variety now. PoE rolls with different modifiers for each level every week.

the advice is for shakenbake not you

also i've done trials about 3 times and highest wins was 6 and that was without 2 of the buffs. of all 3 times i done it i had consistently the highest kills of all 3 players and i played in 3 different teams.

it's impossible to hit 9 unless you have other high skill players with you. your obviously playing in a decent team where all of you are high skill players. therefore it's easy for you. how many on here have got 9 wins? you will be able to count them all on one hand. to say it's easy would be extremely ignorant. teamwork is a small part of it, look at QPR they work as a team but with no skill/talent your going down. if i was to play with 2 high level players i know i could hit 9 wins because i can hold my own in PVP i'm probably a mid-high skill level. try playing it with someone who gets 0 kills, yes zero kills across a minimum of 5 rounds. you need to have 3 decent pvp players to stand a chance of hitting 9.

as for the strategy on POE everyone i'm playing with is doing the bubble strategy so using at least 1 titan. you obviously using the invisible strategy so using blade dancing hunters. nobody in the group i play with has mentioned that strategy before so that's why we have never used it. i'm personally only using 1 character a warlock, i don't have time to run 3 characters so sticking with 1. so if we have a hunter in the group next week might try the invis strat.

i've not even attempted 35 because nobody i play with is a 34. i could hit 34 right now if i wanted to but i'm saving etherics for weapons. got dat 365 fatebringer. no point in me being the only 34 so i'll wait for the others to hit 34 before upgrading, i already have 3x 42 light pieces just need boots now.

yes we wiped a lot but we did it in the end. sometimes it's more fun figuring it out how to beat it yourself than reading guides on reddit all day before playing it. also you can read as many PVP guides as you want but a lot of it is instinct.

for instance i bet a lot on here never pre fire when going round corners. that's something everyone should be doing if they know someone is on a corner from using comms.

i can hit 34 right now and i've only ran 34 POE once and hit 6 wins in osiris on the same character.

you don't need more than 1 character to hit it but probably easier if your not good at PVP.

ascend whatever you prefer using.

if it were me i would go with read death or suros. i have bad juju and hard light but tbh i've never used them, they just sit in the vault along with many other exotics i've never used.

Got the PoE cleared on all three chars at lv35. Disappointed that the ship, shader & emblem only appear to drop once. Also disappointed that Skolas didn't drop us a weapon. Titan bubbles are not necessary at all but maxed Gjallarhorns are pretty much a requisite.

I'm not a PvP player but been sucked in to the trials. Went 9-1 on my first attempt, only missed out on the lighthouse by not buying the buff that doesn't count your first loss.. Since then we went 9-2 & finally got my 9-0 tonight(without needing the aforementioned buff).

None of us in the fireteam are spectacular but communication & teamwork is key, along with saving supers for maximum effectiveness & you need a bit of luck with who you're drawn against.

Yeah I was assuming you're not doing trials. You can of course get to 34 quicker but 2x34 PoE is guaranteed 2 etheric light. I expect to get 34 on at least 2 of mine next week...depends if the nightfall is good to me.

Did 34 PoE last night as a 33 with two other 33's. Man, that was intense. Probably made a meal of it but it was a fantastic run and had a great laugh.

Nearly 34 now! Need one more etheric light

The team your in must have decent pvp players otherwise there is no way it would have been possible to hit 9 three times in three attempts.

Statistically you need to win 9 times out of every 11 games. That's a very high win percentage roughly 82%. To do flawless is 100% over 9 games. Those kind of stats aren't just luck and team work you need to be good at pvp too.

I've only played it 3 times I reckon I could hit 9 with more play time and get lucky with the matching. Would be much easier if I found 2 people who can top the leader board in crucible regularly though.

Anyone who thinks 9 straight wins is team work and luck is deluded. You need to be competent at pvp as well.

It's completely different from a raid where you can carry someone through. If it was 6 v 6 and you had 4/5 good players you could probably carry one or two weaker players in 3 v 3 you cannot carry someone it's too small a team for the win percentage required.
