Witcher 3

Just to warn people theres supposedly an XP bug in the latest patch (think its 1.04), looks like it will be fixed sometime next week. From what Ive read it basically means that theres a chance any new quests you take since that patch might no give you XP when you complete them.

Nothing too serious but thought best to mention it...

There are a couple if bugs I've noticed already. My raw meat icon in inventory corrupted into something unrecognisable and a NPC disappeared into the floor today.

Having just finished a few, quest complete messages, no xp. :mad:

Gonna just go clear out ? then.....

Apparently it's not patch related as its happening on all platforms (xb1 is 1.03), gutted was gonna spend time in this tonight but I'll be too annoyed if I get no XP.
 
Is this problem just post 1.4 update? I think I'm only 1.3 atm. Maybe I'll unplug my ethernet cable if that's the case :p

So annoyed, wanted to sink some hours into this over the weekend! Suppose I best be social.

Edit: my version on Xboxone is V1.01, I've unplugged my Ethernet. Seems forums say it's v1.03 with the issue (which has just been released for Europe). God knows why mine hasn't updated at all since release...

From what I read on the official forums, you dont get experiance for completing quests 6 or more levels below your level. So anybody below level 6 shouldn't see it and anybody over that just needs to cherrypick their quests for a day or two.

"Quests that are 6 levels (or more) lower than yours are not granting experience. Anything else should reward you with exp, we are looking into the issue."

I completed a couple last night at level 7 and got experience at all stages.
 
Just loving this game, ive been taking my royal time with it, exploring every corner of the starting area (White Orchard), only sitting at about level 3 now but been having a great time.

Ive just got through to start in the 2nd area now and first thing i did was open up the map, wow is all i can say, this is gonna take some time to clear :D

So glad i went for it on PS4 in the end, needed another reason to use the thing and this will easily keep me occupied till the "next big thing" GOTY contender for sure
 
Still quite a few bugs in the PS4 version of this. I have had issues with the camera position quite a few times where it goes to about a foot behind his head. Quite a few issues with stamina not recovering so I can't run or cast things. Always fixed by a save and reload but still annoying with the load times.
