1:43.650 :D so just over a second in hand. Maybe if you get under a second I will have to try some more laps :p

Edit: I have got to take joy in the anomaly that is WG as I am sure the next track you will beat me.

Edit2: If you can beat 43.6 then you might have this. Since setting the time I think I have done 30 or so laps and couldn't beat it. I kept setting faster sectors so my perfect time is 43.1 but I could never string 3 godo sectors together :(

Had a few laps of WG last night, set a 1:45 dead, i have to do it in free practice tho as i dont have internet at home atm and time trials locked

Do you guys use manual?
 
Yup, manual here too. The only aid I have on is ABS, I would expect PCars to be like other sims and you can brake later without it but I struggle with brake modulation when using a controller.

I did my time in free practice too, I haven't played around with time trial mode but I think some of it is fixed such as time of time and full damage. However I can't see it makes a difference though as if you drive off the track in either mode the lap is invalid.

Anybody else experienced this pit stop bug - entered the pits in the rain in first with a 5 second lead, as I pitted I could see three cars leaving the pits an lo and behold I came out in fourth! Really irritating as making up 12 seconds in 3 laps was impossible :mad:

Think you're right.

Pit stop times are based on the following

Whether or not you're having tyres changed
How much fuel you're having put into the car
Whether damaged parts are being repaired and
C*ck ups by the pit crew
 
Game is getting worse the more I play it.
Online is just terrible. You set a filter it doesn't save and if you back out of a game before the race starts to you have create your filter again.
Can't even pit on spa online or it gives you a time penalty for cutting the track.
Online should be ghost cars because you get the pathetic low lives that instead of accepting they have been passed want to instead ram you into a wall. Or like earlier to me. He had me on the straight. Instead of driving past me in the faster car he tries to smash me off the track.
Becoming more of a frustration than an enjoyment. Disappointing
 
Anyone else experiencing a weird shaking glitchy effect when playing with camera behind the car? Looks really horrible, I play in the cockpit but it's kind of worrying something so blatant is wrong.
 
I think the only time I have seen the view behind the car was when I cycled through all the views to find which one I preferred. It does sound weird though.

All this driving of Watkins Glen I have lost my Donnington mojo :( Had a random online race round it over the weekend. My Quali was a slow 1:28 and fastest lap was only 1:27 :eek: :(
