:p

Knew that one would have been too big :D

That looks decent. 4GB on a normal 380? I'm wondering whether this is the 290 rebrand? And if it keeps the price point of the 280... wow, it would be a decent budget card. Also liking the passive fan mode, I wish it was there on their G1 GTX 970. Power and noise might be the issue, but otherwise I'd hope to be able to recommend it to my younger brother who wants a GPU for £170 max. Hopefully they do something just as good to compete with the 970 and even the 980.

I am hoping it will smash the Ti/TX up as well. AMD need to win some market share back and an under performing card won't cut it.

Speaking of which Greg, I know you want to even out the collection of Nvidia vs AMD cards, but would you consider doing a 980ti review? Perhaps an overclocked non-reference version that will inevitably put the Titan X to shame? Heck, if non-reference 980ti is that good, I'd sell the TX and go with 980ti if I were you. Just saying though, no pressure. I'd love to see the Fury/Zeus/390X benchmark vs the 980ti and or the TX. Whichever is better. I loved the 970 review, pretty good for card won in a competition XD

I would love to get one of the Ti's but can't really justify it when I have a TX but if someone buys two and wants me to do a review of the other, I am up for it :)

Aren't you quick to forget... he bought a 290X just so he could have an excuse to smash it and talk **** about drivers.

Didn't he buy it as a stop gap until new Titans after selling his old Titans? So no, I'm not quick to forget, you're just whinging over some kind of perceived injustice.

Orangey knows the score and I find it best to ignore him, as he whinges the whole time about everything. moans about rumours in a rumours thread and generally has nothing good to say about anything and just looks for digs at people. Pretty sad really.

Wow nice conspiracy theory. I suppose you believe America orchestrated 9/11 and Neil Armstrong never went to the moon too?

p.s. calling something common sense doesn't mean that it actually is
We all said we trust him so you're just showing how far you're willing to throw things into the hyperbole department by using terms like conspiracy theory. People took issue with what sounded like an ignorant statement (that people would never ever lie or mislead on the internet), agreed it didn't apply to greg but that your world view is narrow and ignorant. End of discussion, new cards soon so joy, joy and more joy if we ignore the silliness :p

When do AMD / Nvidia / Intel ever purposefully release information about upcoming products?

It'll be a part of their business practice to intentionally leak bits and bobs via third parties when it suits, like trying to overshadow a competitors launch... they don't always want to keep everything water tight until the NDA expires.

Surprised AMD being quiet on this, wonder why they don't tease more since the 980Ti is already out? At this point there is no reason to hide info is there?
Yeah it would have been ideal timing to give some info, letting Nvidia pave the way based on peoples impatience is a bit sad but they are choosing to let it go on so that's there game I suppose. Hopefully they'll have something good lined up because it's surprising to hear absolutely nothing even when there is the waning market share. Seems like they played the Valve (Half-Life 3) game and people lost patience with it. Seems you can get some to wait 10 years and they'll still wait happily but others can't wait half a month. Either way, we'll see how it all turns out at E3 it sounds like.

It would be nice if AMD released a few titbits of information about these cards, anything that might make people think twice about buying a 980ti.
The silence and 4GB rumours do not fill me with confidence though I would love to be proved wrong.
