It would be nice if AMD released a few titbits of information about these cards, anything that might make people think twice about buying a 980ti.

Logic would dictate if it was better it would make sense to tell people that so less potential customers will buy the 980ti instead.

AMD logic however says to keep quiet until launch day and then fail to understand why sales are lower than you hoped.

Last time I waited so long for something was for the 2900xt. We all know how that turned out. Ended up getting an 8800gts 320mb for cheap as chips.

I really hope this isn't a repeat.

We all said we trust him so you're just showing how far you're willing to throw things into the hyperbole department by using terms like conspiracy theory. People took issue with what sounded like an ignorant statement (that people would never ever lie or mislead on the internet), agreed it didn't apply to greg but that your world view is narrow and ignorant. End of discussion, new cards soon so joy, joy and more joy if we ignore the silliness :p

All I said at the start was that it says more about the people making those accusations at Greg (if it came to fruition) than it did the honesty of the person itself. It was you (with your own hyperbole about states funding IS) and TheRealDeal who went waffling on a tangent about things I didn't even bring into the equation. I then responded on those points.

So, no.

The silence and 4GB rumours do not fill me with confidence though I would love to be proved wrong.

I agree. Computex is this week and they said it would be revealed at Computex.

Hopefully they follow through. I say just get it out to the masses for sale and work on a more powerful card for the near future.

Didn't mr Fuji manage Yokozuna?

He should manage wccf.

Yeah Ti is priced in that slot which people just tend to lap up nowadays. I paid £500 for my 780 on release but I'm normally a 200-300 man.

The way this release has been handled really makes me think they are either trying to build up hype to counteract the fact they have the Bulldozer of graphics cards,
or they have something truly epic.

I think we will find out Wednesday morning :)

This release is no different from all the others. It's secretive which is the usual stance. It's either going to be great or underwhelming like all others. For the gpu market i hope it's another 9700/8800gtx as personally i feel like things have gotten really stale.

I'll go out on a limb and say that my prediction is it will be Bulldozer'esque... I think AMD were hoping for the smaller manufacturing process which never came in the time frame they needed. HBM and 4K performance is likely to be their only saving grace.

Wasn't it 9700/6800 Ultra? Eh, nevermind. Can't think today :p
