I was shocked with numbed after saw sky news and BBC News alert on my ipod.

Charles Kennedy former MP and former leader of Liberal Democrat was found dead at his home aged just 55.

Shocked he got a very young son.

Wow, got to say I'm shocked too, so young as well. I always thought he seemed like one of the good guys in politics although he had his own problems.

Very sad news.

Sounds like heart attack caused by years of the demon drink. His alcoholism got really out of control the last few years.

Sad news, always seemed like a Politician who was in it for the right reasons rather than a self serving tool like most of them. Witty and always willing to make himself the butt of the joke. Seems like he took the demise of the Lib Dems this election hard

Very sad, didn't mind him too much.

Went to see him speak on a politics trip at school years back, unfortunately he wasn't sober then - must be a horrendous battle

Remember seeing him on Question Time a month or two ago, he was paralytic. Such demons. It's a real shame really, as I thought he was a decent feller
