GOOD! I hope AMD give them a good thrashing. We need the competition.

I also hope they manage to bring out a mega card that pushing the power envelope to around 280W, just to cram as much in for the Hybrid cooler.

If with the cooler it spanks the Titan X, and remains cool it will sell.

That leaves their Air cooled version to slot in under the Titan X.

Seems the prices mentioned 2 days ago are actually quite accurate.
What i hear now is 390X 400$ (maybe 390), Fiji XT 850-880$
 
That's some confident talk. If it's the fastest graphics card that means faster than a 295X2. Maybe he meant Gpu but if it's indeed the fastest graphics card I will be impressed.
 
It's amazing how it can go from failing to being epic in a few minutes :p
13 more days wait!

Wish they'd just flipping paper launch!

Then again, they could just be "stretching the truth" to keep people not buying 980Ti's :p

You and me both! I really hope they do well, and as I've said before - if they don't the NVidia fanboys can enjoy gpu prices that just continue to climb and climb. No competition is never a good thing.

AMD's cpu's are pretty poor compared to intel, but I really hope they do well with the fury.
