Hey peeps,
So I seem to have cracked the screen on my Acer Iconia w700 windows tablet. Its going to cost £100 to fix the screen providing it can actually be fixed and the wifes been her usual lovely self and said to get a new one so...

Now I have been looking at the SP3 i5,256gb version and noticed at the bottom of the page there is the option to add a charger? Does anyone own one and can they confirm it comes with one? Stupid question I know but I know what MS are like with all the extra accessories they try to push on you.

Also, whats you're opinion on these if you own one? Im impressed with the screen ,and the upcoming xbox one streaming stuff means I want a windows tablet as the other options dont appeal to me. I dont buy into the cult of apple and the galaxy tabs just feel to cheap and are nowhere near powerful enough.

Thanks. Just deciding if 4gb of ram will enough. Its not for work just for home and play but the price jumps are pretty hefty just for a few gb.

I think Im just going to go 4gb as my desktop has 8gb and only games come anywhere near that. I was thinking resale value but I wont be selling it so sod it.

I noticed the i5 4gb version is £769 (was £849) on Microsoft store, but looking on an auction site you can get the exact same one for £600 ish. Brand new in box, etc.

Not bad price that, been looking for a docking station for work ( using a HP one and its crap) but it's 164 quid!!!

Got two at work - meh.
They are still a bit heavy and bulky for what they are.

Will give it to MS for the extra screen estate though.

Don't forget that if you work for any education establishment you can probably buy from the student store and get a discount from that as well, I got a surface pro 1 128Gb for £444

Cheers guys. I know they cheaper on the auction site but I wont spend that kind of money on there. Too many scammers and liars and probs no warranty to go with it

Most of the new ones on eBay are grey imports. I got mine before the UK release date and had it serviced via Microsoft with no problems.

Surface warranty is worldwide as long as MS sell the device in the country you want help in.
