Those cancelling their existing orders in exchange for a reference board really need to hold fire, you see some in stock means more are getting ordered all the time. Have some patience, wait for the card you really want. A lot of money this is, don't be pressured into paying more for less.

Its amazing how the titan style cooler was the best thing since sliced bread now suddenly people aren't buying whats in stock because its the reference cooler. :eek:

I'm such a stroppy child when it comes to new toys!

Anyway, they had about 20 ACX's in today and all filled orders instantly. I was 1st originally when I ordered the reference card. But when I changed my order, it knocked me back to the mid twenties. The system just carried me over as 1st from the original order.

Oh well, at least I know where I genuinely am now.

Nothing wrong with the reference, its just third party coolers are better and cheaper currently.

According to this link http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/nvidia-geforce-gtx-980-ti,4164-8.html The 980ti reference cooler cannot maintain maximum boost speed for a prolonged period of time due to temperature.
