If Fury X doesn't deliver I'll be temped to try out the Gigabyte 980 Ti G1 SOC. Annoying because already have Titan X it wouldn't be worth the loss in coin. Wish the G1 had come out first !

Agreed, I feel that way about the G1 Soc, and probably Fury X. No way I could have waited this long without trying the Titan X though. I might just sell it and accept the loss in coin if Fury X is a fair bit better. I did think about giving the TX to my boys but it would be such overkill for them and depreciate in value loads by next year, Pascal etc..

Maybe the Titan X won't be dethroned. In which case I'll hang onto it until next year. Fury X's specs are beastly though.. Not long to find out... Aaaargh to much uncertainty lol.

dead oh dear, you've got it real bad m8.

photos of the Fury X are already all over the web, it doesn't really matter for this year, because it's next year when the 65'' Flat 4k OLED is due to fall in price............... so next year is when the next massive upgrade is due, next year will cost a fortune, this year is sort of a dead zone

Just now on the twitch stream, already mods and people chatting, one of the mods Sgt_Bilko88 seems to be hinting that the 390x isn't the same core, and when they retorted, he said have the official specs been released? ;) or something like that when someone said 'the specs are exactly the same'. Does he know something we don't?

Sgt_Bilko88: @NOLVENTILE, HBM is a lot faster than GDDR5, so we'll see what happens but i don't think 4GB will be as big of a limitation as people seem to think ;)

Anything's still possible - although I want to believe I still doubt it.

In an ultimate conspiracy it could be that the "leaked" Bestbuy XFX 390Xs are in fact just 290Xs and the real R390X has yet to be seen - the only die shot so far has been the XFX one.

All will be revealed in an hour hopefully.

Yeah but few can match trollster's utter dedication to trolling AMD - scouring the internet daily for anything even slightly critical of AMD then starting a thread about it, you can set your watch by him, Another day another trollster troll thread.

Or least you could, until he got banned again and not before time. The guy is one man political smear campaign trying to hide behind the "I like talking about graphics cards" shield, a green shield obv.
