Why do people do this???

This just annoyed me this morning....

Im entering Kenilworth and there is a road that is 50Mph, Not a short road but not long.

There is a Corsa infront doing 40Mph all the way... Which tbh i wasnt too fussed about.

This road then enters Kenilworth and into a strict 30Mph zone, and this Corsa Flys off doing MORE than 40Mph...

So for 3 mins he did 40mph in a 50 limit and now doing 45? in a 30 limit... What gives? Why do they do this? DO they simply not understand how to drive?

And the people who come to a hill and try going up it in 5th gear and then wait until they to about 25-30mph and then change down to 2nd or 3rd.

99 times out of a hundred they are most likely elderly too. I think part of it is they have forgot all the rules of the road or when they did their test their was hardly no rules.

Not agreeing with the speed limit and simply doing the speed they were comfortable with ?

Distracted ( phone, radio, whatever) before in the 50 zone, stopped being distracted in the 30 ?

See it all the time too. Theres a 50mph stretch of road on the way back to my house off of the motorway, countless people drive along it at 30mph. Then of course when we hit the 30mph residential area they always burn off at 40-50 mph. Crazy, and drives me mad as theres nowhere to overtake them on the 50 stretch.

If this is the road from Canley up to Kenilworth, I've seen people do entirely silly things up that section, including speeding up through the actual 30 areas.
