You are missing the point. The species only need survive through time to be considered successful. If any gene increases the chance for that coming to pass then that species is more likely to survive.

Do ants all have offspring or is that solely down to specific types. Do all straight people have children. Are they inconsequential? Of course not. Their genes still interact with the environment and interact on the environment.

A gene doesn't have to promote its survival solely through reproduction from it's owner it can promote its survival externally.

A human needs a man and a woman to come to life. To produce. A child needs a father and a mother. Role models. Gay is unnatural to human existence. It is against Gods law. It is repulsive.

As for me I don't care either way, gay or straight as long as it doesn't affect me in any way and people are happy. That's good enough for me :cool:
