Hi Guys, so I'm deciding which 980TI to go for I think I want an exhaust blower card so it doesn't heat up all of my components in my case so it's dumped out rather than inside of the case.

I was thinking the Zotac 980ti reference with 5 years warranty but I was wondering whether they'll be any headroom for overclocking with that type of cooler was hoping for some people with reference cards and non reference coolers to help me decide.

Any input is welcomed thanks a lot.

I have bought myself a Zotac reference 980Ti, with the fan set to 50% while gaming, it keeps it under 70'c and is barely noticeable. Mine clocks well too, for benching and games i have it set to +225 on core and +450 on memory with no voltage increase. :)

Damn that's impressive with the GPU not exceeding 70 degrees Celsius with 50 percent fan that's crazy I think I'm sold :P

May differ with your card though, depends what your case is like, i have 12 fans in my case just cooling my CPU as i never got round to putting my cards under water :D so i have lots of air flow, you may need a higher fan % to keep it cool :)

I've got 2 fans in my the 240mm radiator and 3 fans on the 360mm rad on the top this is the custom loop for my 5960X :P Reckon I should add more case fans to cool the GPU? :d

Have you tried +240 thats the highest mine will go on stock volts.
I've OC'd the memory but benchmarks show very little gain. Biggest gain is on gpu core OC.

Also is Zotac warranty with them direct or is it with overclockers thinking about going for their aftermarket cooler the one with three fans might be better and only £15 more? thoughts?

im expecting my zotac'S tomorrow im so excited. i have cleaned my pc and boy it was dirty as ****.. i have even installed msi afterburner and heaven benchmark . if i get 1400 on core for both i will be over the moon.

The triple Zotac (amp) is not a bad card and comes with a nice backplate but it doesnt overclocm very well. It is also quite large. Temp is great tho.

Varkanoid what sort of temperatures are you getting? :D

Can not really compare as my Zotac reference now looks like this below. :D "A Sheep in Wolfs clothing"
On the original cooler I had +150 core and it was 86/87c in 3d Mark. 10c less in gaming.

As a comparison, considering the hot weather a run of 3d Mark gives max 58c with the +240 core and +150 memory stock volts.
