. Unfortunate. Obviously Google is falling over itself to apologise:

"We're appalled and genuinely sorry that this happened"

...but it was a coding fault, not a racist slur! Still, polite to apologise I guess.

It's not badly coded - these algorithms represent the cutting edge in machine learning. Id say it's pretty remarkable to be honest, though obviously it needs more data to learn from.

Don't get the problem, it's not anyone being rude- gorillas are generally black, black people are black and being human look similar to them, ergo some black people do resemble gorillas.

That's pretty impressive. And pretty damn good attempt.
It's one impressive feat to recognize something it hasn't seen before (ie angles etc) is similar enough to get it right.

If the above images are all genuine results. It's most impressive I've ever seen

It is also really funny.
