No idea why they'd fire her over that when you consider some of the horrific AMAs some celebrities have done, other than Pao is pushing a political agenda inside Reddit (when you consider "mean" subreddit Fat People Hate being shut down, but other more odious subreddits remaining).
Layout used to confuse me and now I think Reddit is pretty much awesome. Once you work things out they have so much going on. Normally I go into /r/funny as that's normally a good laugh

Whoever thought hiring Pao as a CEO was a good idea was an idiot. It's not like she's got a great track record. Now she's running it like her own little fiefdom. And she has no clue how to work the site either.
I mean if people can't work out threaded conversations, how the hell did you people survive in the early days of the internet, email and newsgroups?
My first thought when after reading how many people abandoned the site based solely on the format. There's some excellent, excellent content on there that's worth putting up with a format you don't get on with.
