*** OnePlus 2 ***

1+ have down clocked the chipset to TRY and stop the over heating issues.

My next phone will be the Xiaomi Mi5 with the 820 chipset. It's due out in the UK in Nov this year.

I don't think they'll fail with the screen again, unless they want to be ridiculed for it

If it converts to 1:1 in price (and usually does)
Only the hard core fans will bite

It's now flagship price with market stall support

Even if it was as before I wouldn't be getting one

To summarize their recent AMAA:

1) OnePlus 2 is smaller in size than OnePlus One
2) OnePlus 2 will have a whooping 3300mAh battery!
3) Just for now, know that OnePlus 2 camera will amaze you... You'll know the rest in the launch event.
4) OnePlus is most proud of with the OnePlus 2's design & build quality
5) Longer Charging Cable with the OnePlus 2.
6) No Major Design Changes for the OnePlus 2.
7) OnePlus 2 will have Europe/Asia, North America and China versions with much Better Band Support than last time.
8) OnePlus will be using an Improved Version of the Invite System.
9) OnePlus 2 (most probably) won't have an SD Card Slot.
10) OnePlus One will still be available for purchase after the release of the OnePlus 2.
11) OnePlus 2: Design, Build Quality, User Experience were most prioritized.
12) OnePlus is working on adding new payment methods which will be available by the end of 2015.
13) OnePlus have optimized the packaging size. For some markets, OnePlus 2 shipping cost will be lower than the ONE.
14) OnePlus 2 won't have wireless charging facility.
15) OnePlus 2 will have support for WiFi Calling.
16) OnePlus will have an App for you to download and enjoy the keynote, with a VR and without.
17) No Heartrate Sensor in OnePlus 2 (OnePlus 3 will have Heartrate Sensor).
18) What does this mean?! o_O

So from the sounds of things it looks to be the OPO but refined. No SD slot was kinda expected seeing as the OPO didn't have one. No wireless charging but personally I don't find that an issue (I still prefer wired for speed). Also looks like there's a good chance it will support all LTE bands used in the UK.

As for the camera, they have some ex HTC guys helping them with the software... from my experience with the M7, and the reviews of the M8 and M9 camera, this doesn't give me much confidence :p.

It looks like a decent phone, I'm just unsure about SN810 and their software which wasn't great on the OnePlus One.

They've only just fixed the touchscreen issues, camera software never really worked properly and ota updates never worked.

MKBHD looks to be unveiling some details about the camera next week.

If the phone wasn't 5.5" I'd be interested unfortuntately it is lol.
I know they said it'll be smaller but I think they mean they slimmed down the bezels.
